ETH is just managing the game time for Garnacho and Mainoo. Both young and Garnacho especially has played too much this season. Really heavy load for a teenager.

Probably shouldn't read too much into one game. The U18s got schooled at Swindon in the FA youth cup and they weren't totally rubbish then and they aren't world beaters now. Lacey is out of the team at the moment but he looks like he has the talent to get to the first team.

I saw him in the later years when he wasn't a box to box runner and was surprised how good he was at sitting back and controlling the midfield.

It's probably for the best that he leaves for a club that he can play for. Take the Angel Gomez route.

Given the financial constraints, a replacement for Martial is a priority. A left back to take the load off Shaw. Replace Erikson with a quality midfielder if money allows. We need to be playing for the CL qualification for the next couple of seasons.

Has Forson signed the contract yet? Otherwise he is free to leave at the end of the season. ETH is going out of his way to convince Forson that he is part of his plans. Forson has a really lovely balance and quick feet, like a top player.

I'd say there's a zero chance of him playing in the senior side this season. He's a kid and not physically developed yet. Looks at least 2 to 3 years away to the first team.
