Yeah, that was the consensus on a Glastonbury forum I visit as well. The posters there seemed to believe that Glastonbury had gone all-out for Madonna and could not deliver, then Stevie Wonder was the touted replacement, but he pulled out and then it was left to bump SZA.

Coldplay do it for free so that's why they keep coming back. I have a ticket but I am very underwhelmed with the lineup to be honest. The quest for female representation/headliners is admirable but there is no way on earth SZA is worthy of that slot.

It should trigger an immediate by-election. How can you get elected representing one party and then switch, clearly contradicting what constituents voted for?

Conversely, my Mum with stage 4 lung cancer is not entitled to ESA because she underpaid her NIC by £60 in 1 tax year. She has made over 35 years of NIC contributions and would be entitled to a full state pension if she survived to retirement age, which she won't. We have a lot more pressing...

I work in tax and have been bleating on about this (in this thread as well) for ages. The Tories are never going to raise CGT as a lot of them pay it, as they are rich (see Rishi Sunak's 2022/23 UK tax return). One of the first things I would do if I was in power would be to equalise the rates.

What actually happens if Biden wins but then has to relinquish the presidency on medical grounds say 3 months in? Does the VP just take over for the next 3 and a bit years, or is there another election?

He is unbelievably inconsistent, has a massive ego not befitting his talent and simply rarely puts a shift in. He slows all of our play down and a lot of the time is the reason why things break down. He also sulks when he can't play in one position. Add to that his value is only going to go down...

I am likely going to have to pay this tax soon for my Mum's estate and then her share of her dad's, who is likely to outlive her. I have no problem with it and wish the rules were tighter to prevent rich people avoiding it (I work in tax and see this regularly).

The fact that Johnson and Sunak can both fail to hand over WhatsApp messages and face zero consequences when compelled by a court to do so is a travesty. There should be criminal charges and uproar. Why isn't there?

Can we actually get rid of it now or are we stuck with it forever? What will it take for UEFA/FIFA to scrap it? Genuinely don't know but I am sick of it and wish it could be binned.
