We scored a 45 pass goal against Southampton under LVG. The team was properly coached. We didn't defend and hope for a lucky goal. We did struggle to break teams down but the team had a formation and system of play. Lingard, Fosu Mensah, Rashford and Martial all looked good under LVG.

He was right when he criticised LVG and he is right now. These performances are worse than what we saw under Louis. We might have been toothless back then but at least we were coached and the players had a system of play. Jose needs to spend less time gobbing off and more time coaching.

We are not favorites. Our record in Europe since Fergie left has been diabolic. To assume we suddenly have the European savvy is wishful thinking imo. Just look at Spurs. They have been much better domestically than Utd but they still lost on the continent.
