  1. Glazers looking to sell off a minority share & bring in a new Investor

What's wrong with you that you think this is acceptable behaviour.
  2. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

To re-phrase this slightly, how many lives are you happy to sacrifice for your life? If just one person has to die so that you can have a piss up is that okay? This is purposefully inflamatory, but this virus can't be considered at an individual basis, that's not how it works. It thrives on our...
  3. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

Couldn't this also be taken as an argument that rates in schools and in the wider community are intrinsically linked given the similarity? The conclusions appear to be that there is transmission in an educational setting, but it largely mirrors the transmission in the community at the same...
  4. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

That must be incredibly frustrating for you. I hope that you can get your appointment soon :)
  5. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

I'm not quite sure how you've come to this as a solid conclusion. Given that it's been deemed too risky to move GM down to Tier 2, I don't think thats a signal to engage in more activities that could potential lead to further spreading. The whole point of the tier system isn't to control what...
  6. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

This is a great post. I don’t think @SiRed meant to be as outlandish as he/she appears to others. We are in this together for better or worse! There’s no point in just shouting at people without understanding where they are coming from.
  7. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

For a simple explanation of exponential. If there were 2 cases today, that would be 4 tomorrow, then 8 on Saturday, 16 on Sunday etc. I agree it’s incredibly frustrating to see individuals showing a clear lack of following the rules, but what we mustn’t do is decide that because they are doing...
  8. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

Well, firstly there were 137 deaths reported yesterday so you’re a few days behind, but that highlights the point exactly. At present it’s a low (compared to spring) number of Daily reported deaths, but without intervention cases will rise, hospitalisation will rise and with it deaths...
  9. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

I wanted to lurk, but this is ridiculous. Your solution is to pull yourself away from society even if you don't have COVID thus potentially unnecessarily damaging the economy, and then if you do have it, nobody will know, so they can't trace where you've been or where you picked it up from, so...
  10. Can a win be a loss? Poll | Hypothetical: United and Liverpool win, or Chelsea and Real Madrid win?

United win. Don't understand why this is even a question.
  11. Michael Carrick provides health update

He's said he's back in training and feels fine so I'd imagine he's over it. He could have very easily packed it in but is still obviously driven to play.
  12. Michael Carrick provides health update

Was strange afterwards, when I was back playing football and general excercise it felt like I wasn't really pushing myself as a heart rate "only" in the 180s feels comparatively slow. I became almost addicted to trying to push it higher.
  13. Michael Carrick provides health update

Try to enjoy the operation. It's a unique experience!
  14. Michael Carrick provides health update

Yes he'll be fine. Hardest part is the psychological aspect of returning to excercise and expecting your heart rate to go through the roof.
  15. Michael Carrick provides health update

The operation is the strangest feeling I've ever had. It's like your heart is hooked up to an accelerator pedal. At one point the surgeon said my heart rate hit 260!! I was completely wired off the adrenaline for a few days after.
