  • One can assume all the U18s that have been on U21 duty will be called back to the U18 side for that game, as it's important for getting UYL football next season.
  • Max Taylor on as a sub for Solihull in the National League playoff final. Will want to have an impact as his parent club Rochdale have released him so he'll be clubless after this

I still think Vitek should be sent to Lausanne-Sport. Give him a challenge in the Swiss top flight much like Kovar got at Sparta Prague. And with LS being an Ineos team it makes it easier to monitor his progress. They could be for Man Utd and...
  • Might end up falling down the leagues like Mellor if he's not careful. He had a pretty uneventful loan at Rochdale (just the one goal in 9 games) from Wycombe this season and I don't see that helping him get a new contract there, even though they...
  • Injuries ruined Wilson's progress. D'Mani still technically a Wycombe player but don't expect him to stay there. They've got Richard Kone as their star striker now.
  • Have to wonder if Altrincham would have benefitted from playing Aljofree against Bromley today.
  • Been a busy week for them tbf, especially the ones who've been pulling double duty with the U18s. Wouldn't be surprised if a bit of fatigue was kicking in as they won't be used to such busy schedules yet.
  • Former Academy player Ben Brereton Diaz has scored for Sheffield United, huge goal for them. It was against... oh, against United. gdi.

Gibraltar play Scotland and Wales in friendlies in June, they'll be a good test for Scanlon against senior opposition. Might see him going up against McTominay.
  • Scanlon and Bianchieri again linking up well
  • Rashford and McTominay both being doubts for Wednesday might also cast questions over whether any more u18s will get drafted into the first team for Wednesday

Lausanne-Sport also an option as Ratcliffe owns them too. Not as high a level as Nice but would still give vital experience that could help them, like when Kovar went to Sparta Prague.
  • Not like the first team have any other CBs available. Maguire is the most fit and he's only trained once this week.

That experience of senior football probably helped too, made him more aware of how much he needs to physically adapt just for that level of senior football.
  • I wonder if, instead of sending players to League One and League Two, this summer we'll see a few players head to Ineos teams Nice and Lausanne-Sport for senior experience. More likely the latter as Nice will have European football and demand a...
