  1. Ole Gunnar Solskjær | 2021/22 Discussion

Unfortunately I don't see how we can realistically be expected to compete with Man City. We don't have two elite first 11's to bring out.
  2. Left Back Position

I actually think AWB has a decent cross when he finally is in a position to whip one in. The other points I agree with. We should definitely look to give Shaw more competition. Williams initial form when introduced to the first team was good, and also made Shaw better in return. Unfortunately...
  3. James Garner | 2019/20 Performances

He's 18. And a Central Midfielder at that. I'd wager nothing has happened, and he's coming along nicely as a player.
  4. Victor Lindelöf | 2019/20 Performances

He's shit. United need to realize that quickly and upgrade on him.
  5. Jesse Lingard | 2019/20 Performances

Why does he start today? He must be awesome in training..

 I would have thought that he was out of his depth, yes. Would you have thought Van Gaal was out of his depth if all of his tactical analysis were about sex masochism? I mean they most likely weren't, since we have no idea what goes on behind the scenes.
  7. Maguire and Lindelof Partnership

Looks a good partnership. We were lucky not to concede a goal, but I thought we defended our central area well. The shots from Emerson were dangerous but in most circumstances a defence will prefer to concede shots from such a tight angle. Hopefully Tuanzebe will keep on improving and displace...
  8. Victor Lindelöf | 2018/19 Performances

In my opinion Lindelöf will never be good enough for the level United should aspire to. In the mid to late 2000's Liverpool had Daniel Agger who they insisted was great, and we had Rio Ferdinand. These days we have Victor Lindelöf who we desperately want to be great, and Liverpool has van Dijk.
  9. Victor Lindelöf | 2018/19 Performances

You could argue that Smalling got closer in that situation and therefore forced Ronaldo to take his touch, but I think another factor to include here is the slightly different angle from a 'worse' pass - and Ronaldo likely opting to use his stronger foot. Comparable to an extent.
  10. Chris Smalling | 2018/19 Performances

I've never seen a player who needs to position his body as much as Smalling does for a simple pass. Still our best out and out defender by far though despite of a couple of shaky matches over the last month or so. Hopefully just a blip.
  11. Victor Lindelöf | 2018/19 Performances

I don't think Lindelof can be judged for Ronaldo's goal. Maybe he could have reacted better to Ronaldo's run, but the precision of the pass along with the over the shoulder volley cannot be executed by anyone else in the world. I like the progress he's showed over the last month or so but has...
