    It's not just the 104 runs (at time of writing). It's the 222 balls. If we win this test (and it's a massive if), we'll need him in the last test, and the middle-time he's getting here will be vital when Bumrah returns.

    Agree. He doesn't ned to force the pace; everyone else is doing that for him. It's easy to say there's no Bumrah here, but hopefully he's getting himself back into form for when Bumrah comes back.
