If you're coming from abroad, you will get a pro contract at 17, that's almost always usually the case, regardless of club. I don't think that should be used as a comparison to the domestic lads. Plus, what does nationality matter anyway, if the player is good enough?

What does it matter if he's English or not? If you're talking about the 2 who signed today, they're no where near "our better players" (regardless of nationality) in the squad. Don't see how it could've been seen as unfair if there is a clear talent difference, in some cases?

How would it affect other clubs? Most clubs do what Liverpool did (offering tickets etc) but Liverpool were stupid enough to get caught. It wasn't the education part that got them banned, it was the tickets, which counts as an inducement.
