He’ll probably end up becoming a decent striker as he’ll probably improve (especially under Klopp). But he’s never going to become world class for a top team. There’s just too many things in his game he needs to improve.

Pellistri did more in 14 minutes than Elanga did all game so not really.

He has the potential to be an absolute beast. Every time he got the ball he made something happen. Really needs to bulk up a little bit though, he got pushed off a bit a couple of times.

He didn't really "lose" him, he made a decent challenge to it but it was a great deceiving run, great delivery and great header. I don't think anyone else defending that would have done much better tbh.

Good centre forwards can make an impact without really touching the ball much. Just his presence and movement alone makes other teams think twice and opens up space.

Yeah same here, they play so well together and Gargano is having some kind renaissance. Schiappacase will add a lot too I think once he gets fit. But Torres is definitely the one to watch, such a head ache for defenders. Hope so but it will be extremely tough, I’ll be happy with a good deep run...

Which sitters has he missed this season? He has had some half chances to decent chances that he didn’t put away but I don’t recall any sitters. For some reason some people seem to think that any half chance is easy to put away and every striker has to score every chance they get. I’d love to...
