This is the best news we've had in ages. Massive relief

  3. Qatar or Ineos - which owners would you prefer? | Vote now Private

I haven't commented for years but thought it was as good a time as any to dust off the account and chime in. I'm pretty shocked at this poll tbh. Maybe I'm in an echo chamber of my own making but among my mates and everyone I've spoken with that sit near me I don't really know anyone pro Qatar...
  4. Romelu Lukaku | United confirm deal subject to medical and personal terms

It's hard to argue with his goal record but his hold up play is abysmal and his touch is poor. I fear he's the sort of player that needs an entire attacking system flowing through him to succeed and I'm not sure he's good enough for us to do that. There are plenty of aspects to Zlatan's game...
  5. That amazing new chant!

Jesus Christ the state of some of the replies in here. Stick to your armchairs.
  6. Victor Wanyama

He's mediocre. Top sides don't have room for pure destroyers and he's far too limited on the ball to be anything else.
  7. The 'should/would have been' stars of this generation?

Anderson and Pato. Both should have been bang in their prime at this stage in their careers but instead both have fallen away to obscurity. Both were incredibly talented and reached serious heights as teenagers, just goes to show that you can never take your foot off the gas as an elite sportsman.
  8. Better Player Right Now: Ibrahimovic or Pogba

Pogba. He's been the driving force behind United's form in the last few months, while Zlatan has only just started putting them away after a shocking run of wastefulness.
  9. Victor Lindelöf

I agree. Jones and Smalling were both seen as the next big thing at one stage. Both have had their dips in form and injuries but both have come out of the other side and proven their quality. Bailly and Lindelof both look to have real promise but both will have difficult times ahead of them, as...
  10. Buying British?

Half of these players aren't even good enough to start for their own clubs.
  11. The search for a holding/controlling midfielder

Carvalho seems like a good option for me. He has physicality and height that Jose loves in Fellaini, but coupled with a decent passing range and solid defensive game. He lacks mobility from what I've seen but in Herrera and Pogba we have two very mobile and energetic partners which should be a...
  12. Stones vs David Luiz

Wouldn't touch either of them with a barge pole. The new wave of defender that can't actually defend. Both absolute liabilities. If you had to chose one currently it would be Luiz because he's found form in a back three, but I wouldn't bet against that form falling away quite drastically at...
  13. Our worst ever performance?

We've seen some shite in the League Cup and Europa League but I'm not really arsed about either competition and neither are the players by the looks of things. Some of the late Moyes era home league losses were diabolical though. Shite teams coming to old Trafford, not playing very well and...
  14. Adnan Januzaj | 2016/17 Performances

He's far too talented to let waste away so I'm delighted that it looks like he'll get a proper chance under Mourinho.
  15. Gaming Pokémon Go (Android, iOS)

Saw a Snorlax on the train and it glitched me out of the battle. Absolutely broke me.
