On recent evidence I would say Coutinho too. I worry that Sterling is going to take the typical English route of failing to live up to the promise/hype, like Walcott for example. It would probably do him good to play abroad for a while, develop his ability.

Well, this season I've predicted that we would finish out of the top 4. But the last two games have been really impressive and of course I'm much more confident now of getting a CL place. A long way to go yet though. Never doubted LVG's ability but just felt we'd fecked it up this season...

Going by our recent performances, you're right, there is little reason to be confident. Tough fixtures coming up against sides playing better football than we are. We are only 4 points away from 7th, so it's not unimaginable that we could finish the same as last season. I'm just praying that...

PSG were good, justice was done. Two great headers at the end there, Courtouis stops one but not the other. I couldn't see PSG doing it but I'm glad they did because they showed great attitude.

Is anyone here doubting that Chelsea will win? PSG have been great and deserve to go through over both legs, but it seems inevitable now doesn't it.

No side has a bigger advantage at home than Chelsea. They somehow manage to weasel their way out of every conceivable situation. Costa is a complete arse. He gets away with it because the ref happens to have his back turned, unbelievable.
