  1. Japan national team thread

The Japanese are not playing their normal game. They normally excel in keeping possession and lots of chance creation. A bit like spain lite. They have many hidden gems playing all over europe who excel in technical ability. In WC18 they were lovely to watch. Especially the way they played...
  2. Martin Ødegaard | Arsenal player

    He just turned 23 actually.,
  3. 'Pep' Guardiola sack watch

I can't understand people who watch city games and downplay the influence of Pep. It's for everybody to see. The improvement players like Rodri, Sterling etc make on the technical side as a footballer. Is down to him, no coach in the world does that as well as him. And his system/philosophy is...
  4. Ralf Rangnick | ex-interim manager | does anyone rate him?

The system doesn't work. It's a stupid system. Schmidt at PSV uses it too, which has been pretty much a failure. It leaves you vulnerable and gives great difficulties breaking low blocks.
  5. Who you rate the highest Pep, Klopp or Tuchel?

It’s clearly Pep, by a mile. He revolutionized football in England. Everyone tries to play out from the back, at every level, tries to play more football and that is due to him. He is dominating the PL at its highest peak and all the while having an everlasting influence how the game is played...
  6. Frenkie de Jong | The last muppeting lap

De Jong is actually fast and pretty athletic. Don’t know if the Jibbs seen him play.
  7. Park Ji-Sung asks United fans to stop singing his chant

It’s clearly a statement to degrade Korean people. I don’t get how people on here try to argue it’s just a normal thing to say and al in good faith. True or not.
  8. Park Ji-Sung asks United fans to stop singing his chant

Some chant for a player of your own. Not even something positive about the guy, just saying that he comes from a country where they eat dogs. He should have said something earlier. Quite disrespectful to say the least.
  9. Lionel Messi | PSG Watch

Thanks its my real name. The first name. You can spell it different ways;) But Ronaldo fans are a bit sensitive of banter about his tap in style of play I see. Probably because you guys know there is some truth to it, deep down. The things I’ve read here about Messi after a couple minutes at...
  10. Lionel Messi | PSG Watch

Magician? If you count useless stepovers as magic, maybe. Ronaldo mainly scores tap ins , its the foundation of his career tbh. From Messi people expect moments of genius and not just simple goals. But yeah thats probably what makes him the best.
  11. Lionel Messi | PSG Watch

For Messi there are different expectations. People expect him to play like an absolute magician, score the most goals and win everything. Always. For other players a couple of tap ins are enough to be the best player. So telling.
  12. Adama Traore

No. You can still have successful dribbles, but end up running in dead ends.
  13. Adama Traore

Traore is very physical. He uses that with his dribbling too, he isn’t very deliberate. He always just manages to keep hold on the ball, due to strength or speed. Or he runs in to dead ends. When you watch truly great dribblers, they are very deliberate. They know which side to turn open, don’t...
  14. Adama Traore

So Spain had "the best dribbler in the world" this summer, but kept him on the bench. Weird
  15. Adama Traore

The problem with him is, he isn’t in control and most of his dribbles are going nowhere. If he would play for a better team with higher expectations, he would frustrate the living hell out of people. Now he’s just a hipsters choice.
