  1. Football – have you actually missed it?

    This! Brilliant post
  2. Manchester United vs Perth Glory (Sat 13th July, 12:00 UK time)

Any United fans going to the game in Perth today?
  3. Morning after the night before

The game started at 6am here, its just gone 630pm, have literally spent 12 hours on cloud 9! Cant believe the contrast in 3 months ago. I have to admit i almost stopped caring towards the end of Jose but now it feels completely different. Cant wait until 3am on monday morning
  4. The Mourinho Thread: Should he stay or go? | Sacked

As others have rightly mentioned the problems at the club run much deeper than the manager alone but surely the only way forward is to bring someone else in. Its clear that this season is fast becoming a shambles, if we bite the bullet now at the very least we would give the new manager 8 months...
  5. To those against Mourinho...

For him to be here any longer than the end of this season he needs to get us playing positive football and at least give us, the players and just as importantly himself the belief that we are capable of challenging in the near future. There doesn't appear to be any confidence within the players...
  6. José Mourinho | 2018/19 Performances

This is a good point. If we are not close to challenging and playing poor football what is the point? Surely there becomes a time where if no form of progression is forthcoming its time to move in a different direction. We can talk all day about jose but i dont think it would necessarily matter...
  7. Why the negativity against Ed and the Glazers? Sorry I don't follow

Why the negativity towards ed and the glazers? For me its pretty obvious. Because we are 5 years on from Saf's retirement and we look further away from winning the league than any point since. Because we have hired 3 managers and each of them has served up their own versions of dire football. We...
  8. José Mourinho | 2018/19 Performances

Haven't posted on here for ages but ill chip in with my view for what its worth. It seems increasingly unlikely that we are in any sort of shape to be successful anytime soon under our current manager, with this set of players and the way we are run as a club. All three deserve their fair share...
  9. Jose Mourinho | 2017/18 Assessments | Poll Added

If we are still in the title race and the Champions League come April, it will represent a huge improvement on anything we have seen since saf retired. I like Jose and im happy to wait until the end of the season to judge him but ill admit that I would like to see an improvement in the attacking...
  10. Anthony Martial | 2017/18 Performances

Having read through this thread I know not everyone will agree but I think he's a brilliant player. He's one of the few players in our team capable of brilliant skill and truly magic moments that get you on the edge of your seat. Coupled with a calmness in front of goal that defies his age. He...
  11. Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur

I'm not sure exactly why but ive got a good feeling about this one. Feels like a huge game, we need a response after the last few weeks and playing at home against a top team might just be a blessing. 2-0 united
  12. Attitude

I was just about to say this. Without sounding dramatic I think this is one of the biggest league games we have had in a long time. It's up to the manager and the players to respond with a big performance against a top team at home, no excuses for another slow start, no excuse for another...
  13. Would you be happy with accepting a draw in our big away matches if we won the league?

The way I see it drawing away from home against the better teams in the league is perfectly fine so long as we win the home games against those teams. I'd does leave us with very little margin for error though, especially as it looks as though city are a much improved team this year and are in...
  14. Anthony Martial | 2017/18 Performances

Hes been fantastic so far this season, a massive improvement from what we saw last season. If he continues to show this kind of form surely he makes it impossible for Jose leave him on the bench!
  15. Marcus Rashford vs Anthony Martial (2017 / 2018 Season)

Personally I think your underestimating Rashford's ability. He's 19, playing regularly for a huge club that has no problem spending $75 million on strikers and under a manager that apparently doesn't like playing young players. He's lightning fast, can score and create goals and seemingly has a...
