U18 youth cup final is our biggest priority right now. They also had a few injuries which kept them out a bit.

Both the U18 & U18 played in a similar style. It's great to see our coaching footprint is shaping the teams to in the same system. Thought Williams & Weathly had a very energies. Mainoo MOTM, it seems too easy for him.

Second half was a clinic. Player movement without the ball and work rate was excellent. Thought Oyedele was superb, he was like a wall in the middle of the pitch.

Watching Kobbie play at his age group showed how much he's ahead of everyone he is. Fredricson showed he's use playing in a more physical environment.

With final and games in hands in the league we'll have some interesting team selections in this game and in the coming weeks. Players like Kambwala & Pye will want to get back into game shape. As always the younger lads will get a run in & most likely some players will get a rest.

Garnacho has some huge positives that are hard to find... He's very direct with the ball and he knows how to get play the angle to get the defenders off balance for a split second and take advantage, he's deadly in front of goal but he's not selfish also he seems to love the big stage. Wonderful...

What I find so in encouraging about Mainoo is that center midfield is probably the most complicated position on the pitch (requires reading the game on both sides, mobility, physicality etc) and mostly players blossom later on (Scholes is a great example). Mainoo is already a savvy midfielder...
