  1. Harry Maguire | 2020/21 Performances

Fairly sure 16th refers to the number of goals conceded, only four teams conceded more goals that season.
  2. German Football 20/21

I'd argue that right now our(Hertha) squad is hardly better than last season. I was pleasantly surprised that we managed to score 4 goals after failing to score in the last three test games, although it is worrying that basically everything ran through Cunha. Injuries, bans and quarantine...
  3. Why is there an English tax?

They signed Carson on deadline day, didn't they? From what I can tell they likely registered some youth players like Doyle to fill the other three spots.
  4. How do Barcelona rebuild?

Nah, its me being daft. I found a few sites which claim he would get 800k euros/ weekly, but wanted to find a pound sterling version, without checking the wages again. https://fcbarcelonalatestnews.com/fc-barcelona-players-wages/...
  5. How do Barcelona rebuild?

It appears to be correct: https://www.sportekz.com/football/barcelona-players-salaries/ More shocking is that De Jong is apparently paid 400k/week, more than Busquets and Pique.
  6. SARS CoV-2 coronavirus / Covid-19 (No tin foil hat silliness please)

Hard to say while it is still spreading, but there are some data points which might explain the relatively low fatality numbers so far(though they are still going to be horrible). In terms of testing, 'we' appear to be more active than the other European countries, according to...
  7. Has political correctness actually gone mad?

If someone's skin colour is rapidly changing, I don't see anything wrong with pointing it out. I somewhat doubt that a black person on vacation is changing his appearance as much as a sick caucasian is.
  8. The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

I know very little about Twitter, but looking at his feed this is not really extraordinary. 50k likes are pretty much the minimum, so I wouldn't underestimate the number of accounts who simply like everything he is posting(which is obviously not limited to him).
  9. Hamburg Airport Evacuated - ?Chemical Attack

The airport is already reopened and once again active. A Hamburg newspaper reported of 68 injuries, from what I can tell none of them life-threatening. Still no clue what kind of gas it was though.
  10. Poverty and immigration in the world

I always like to imagine how terrified Malthus would be if he could see how many people are living in today's Britain/World.
  11. Police strike in Brazil: Army sent in after 100 murders in six days.

Is this a 'legal' strike? As far as I know public servants in my country are not allowed to strike, in order to prevent things like these from happening. Do they have the right to do so?
  12. The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

I'd guess they are losing a lot of value to Putin if he can convince the US to support his foreign policy. Their alliance was mostly based on a mutual anti-american feeling, so Putin might throw them under the bus if they are no longer useful to him.
  13. 37.5 million euro worth of cannabis seized at Dublin Port

    https://www.rte.ie/news/2017/0120/846610-cannabis/ So 20Euros per gramm? That's a bit optimistic.
