  1. Thoughts on Tuchel as a potential United manager?

And yet, Liverpool with structure in place and Tuchel on the table have not even considered a fellow German top coach that has a ready made squad for continuities sake. Makes you wonder why we with our aspirations are going for someone that would on paper be shoe in to take over from Klopp.
  2. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Pretty sure it was an Athletic article or something similar. Ten Hag was given news by our medical team that both Shaw and Malacia would be available for United in January, so with three left backs on the books, he sent Reguilon back. Then one of our long term medical staff was fired not long...
  3. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

All top clubs do these pre season tours, what's so special about our squad that it isn't adequate for us but City, Arsenal, Liverpool have coped?
  4. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I mean, it's what Zidane did at Real Madrid.
  5. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

To be fair, the BBC officially reported that the club and Mourinho met in December, the 5 months of reporting of it made it feel like a surprise for some, but it was telegraphed by high tier sources 5 months before the fact.
  6. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Think you need to look at the injury lists for our squad for the first 20+ game lists and the various squad combinations we have had to use. Rangnick and Ole had better first xi's the season before Ten Hag took over. It's clearly not just been Martinez out.
  7. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

As others have mentioned here, explain how Bournemouth, Spurs gave City a game but we couldn't. Also mentioned is that Ferguson didn't completely fold on the possession battle when playing pragmatically either. He had players with good workrate like Park and Rooney harassing them for the ball...
  8. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Said it in the preseason topic, you cant blame these preseason tours, they don't affect Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Barca, Real etc in this season ending manner that we suffer from.
  9. Club Ownership

A minority owner that has been given control of sporting and recently commercial business decisions.
  10. MU Tour 2024 - Back to the US

All those saying we shouldn't be going on these tours. A couple of points to be made on this. We play Arsenal and Liverpool on this tour, because they are touring too, in fact a lot of big clubs do these PR trips during pre season. Guess what? They don't suffer these early season struggles like...
  11. Club Ownership

You are aware of course that Fletcher did the FA Technical director course. The course that Ashworth and the FA designed based on more clear definitions of what each director does.
  12. Club Ownership

I completely agree with this opinion. Rangnick staying on at consultancy was a Murtough level decision to make because it was Murtough that would have been using his services as a consultant. He wasn't going to be an assistant to Ten Hag.
  13. Club Ownership

Considering that any consultancy option was put in place during negotiations by Woodward and Judge to help Murtough as sporting director, I don't think Ten Hag got a say.
  14. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I have been ETH in up until today. I have argued tooth and nail that he has been let down by the club and players, I still believe that however you cannot excuse the current situation. 5-6 days between games week in week out, plenty of time on the training ground to prepare for each game we...
  15. Club Ownership

Along with my other point re: there being no 30% limit and the deal stating the club will generate shares as per investment at $33 a share you aren't really looking at it from a logical perspective. This isn't something the Glazers can just put a block on. SJR is investing $300m at $33 dollars...
