  • There's essentially zero real-world chance (technically a 1.1% chance) that the EPL gets the extra CL spot at this point, so 5th place being of any use to us is a ship sailed.

That's the thing, though...clubs don't need three new kits every season. It's actually pretty ridiculous that clubs do three new kits every season, and the only reason they do is pure capitalist greed. You don't see this in any other major...

Yes, there are subtle changes for each team but the template of the year stays the same- the current template being that business under the arms and down the side. And beginning with the Euros this summer and moving into the new club seasons...

What are you talking about? All three EPL clubs that use Adidas (United, Fulham, Forest) are using the exact same template for their home kits this season. Three stripes on the shoulders and the stupid rectangle under the arms with the line down...

You would think that United couldn't go wrong with a black kit, but then again Adidas often wind up ruining our black kits by adding ridiculous accent colors like orange. Nike made proper black kits for us (07/08 away, 09/10 away were both mint).

Crazy talk, Nike consistently produces the nicest looking kits in football.

Can't be long now before the new kits get revealed, right? I'm so sick of the yearly Adidas template kits that every big club share. Wish we'd go back to Nike.
  • ETH is going to make sure he takes Antony down with the ship, that's for sure

Most fans don't go to every game anyway, as it's cost-prohibitive. For a pair of season tickets (because nobody really goes to games alone out here) you're looking at probably $5k for the season for decent seats.

As a Yank I love this, but I understand why all of you would be bothered by it. That being said, the NFL has started having several games each season in London and Munich and everyone (expect the players) seems to love it.
  • Last year all the pressure was on City, with the prospect of doing the treble hanging over them, which I can imagine was a pretty massive weight. With that out the window this year, they'll be able to relax and enjoy their football in this...
  • Honestly it has become too much of a chore to keep up on who is injured and for how long. What happened to Varane and Lindelof? Are neither good to go?
  • Can somebody provide cliff notes so I don't have to read bro's version of War and Peace?
  • Todd replied to the thread Diogo Dalot | 2023/24 Performances.
Safe to say Dalot is our player of the season this term. In fact, at this point I think it'd be fair to say that Dalot is the one and only example of us absolutely nailing a transfer in the post-Ferguson era.

To be fair, when you've got guys like De Bruyne, Foden, and Rodri in your midfield it's easier to pooh-pooh a guy like Kovacic. Kovacic would be the best player in United's midfield if we signed him, so dire are the state of things.
