I'd keep Bayindir, Kambwala, Martinez, Shaw, Malacia, Mainoo, Mct as backup, Garnacho, Hojlund, Bruno, not fussed about the rest.
I think there's probably around 15 players who i'd happily see out of the club.
1. LVG (clear tactics, youth policy, shit transfers, mad lad)
2. McKenna (hindsight, on the back of what he has achieved at Ipswich)
3. Carrick (club legend, doing ok at Boro)
Jose is just too toxic. Olé was utterly shit. Moyes is too small...
Not buying Onana in the first place would have helped with FFP, unless Onana's amortised value counts towards this year's FFP and Kovar's sale counts towards last year's.
From the little I've watched, I don't think we look much better with Onana. Besides, the long term view would have been to bed in Kovar who is good with his feet.
I've not watched a full game this year, just the odd 10mins on a few occasions, and I don't think I watched many games last year.
I'll come across as stupid, but I wish I could find my passion as a fan once again. I just cannot stand the same...
Could we have kept DDG for another year or 2, and rotated with Kovar?
edit: I guess we could have under another manager but I can't see EtH doing that. The GK transfers last summer really wind me up.
Motta > Juve
Amorin > Liverpool
Who's left? De Zerbi, Nagelsmann, Inzaghi, Potter.
Who's looking? Bayern, Barca (rumours they've trying to convince Xavi), Chelsea (?), United (???)
Will it be another case of too late for us?
I don't understand why a United fan would want Southgate to take Mainoo to the Euros. A fresh Mainoo is better for us, besides, one shit game and the press will be all over him.
Unless you value England over United, which is fair.
I didn't think he'd make it here, so not fussed if we sell him. But I can totally understand his frustration.
Like many have posted before me, why the feck block his loan move or start Forson ahead of him! At the very least he deserved more...
I would agree if the manager was consistent with this approach, but some players continue to get minutes even though the reverse applies, i.e., game after game they're shite, yet they continue to feature. Is that because they show more during...
" As Liverpool’s sporting director, Edwards would later sell Jordon Ibe, Brad Smith and Solanke to Bournemouth, managed by Howe and with Hughes installed as technical director, for considerable sums. " ... this makes more sense now.
