  1. Gonçalo Ramos

Has fallen off quite a bit since the World Cup, along with the whole Benfica team tbh. Needs a lot more time to make it to a top club, really hope he stays and develops at Benfica for now,. Still a very good player but could be a Renato if he moves now.
  2. Kim Min-jae | signed for Bayern

Emi as a dream signing? Cmon man...
  3. David De Gea | 2022/23 Performances

Diogo Costa. He's been on fire in regards to that recently, just watch the last two games highlights.
  4. The January Centre Midfielder Market

Quite the opposite actually, he's been playing more as an 8 than a 6. Can't do the Casemiro role. Wish we could've gotten Palhinha, would've been perfect.
  5. Scott McTominay | Transfer discussion not performance discussion

I don't think it's about them being better than McTominay but being a better fit for the team. None of those are DM's in the Casemiero mould which is what we should be going for if we do end up selling Scotty. No point selling him and not getting someone who would fit the squad. We already have...
  6. Scott McTominay | Transfer discussion not performance discussion

Scotty is supposed to be Casemeiro's backup but that isn't even his best position! So much better given a free role to drift into the box, he's had some blinders for us but has never been consistence, don't think he ever will. Will be a brilliant signing for Newcastle and would suit their game...
  7. State sportswashing ownership or Profit-seeking ownership?

All the "State" owned examples in Football right now have been run brilliantly. City, PSG, more recently Newcastle. While the latter have been a mess. We need owners who are passionate about the football, are obsessed with winning and look for long-term success, the business bit coming in 2nd...
  8. Harry Maguire | 2022/23 Performances

However, those "proactive moments" is where he has always faltered in the past and has led to so many goals/chances. He just isn't good enough for us and for the way ETH wants his CB's to play. I'm sure he'll excel in a team that plays similar to the English set-up. Swap deal for Kane in the...
  9. Darwin Núñez | Liverpool player | Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shish

That's just how he is as a player though. Uber confident and plays through his instincts, regardless of what is happening. It's what makes him really good or really bad. Good in the sense he will keep trying and never get into his shell. The bad, well, he continues messing up easy chances.
  10. Players you had forgotten existed

Tyler Blackett & the one with the magic left foot CBJ (Cameron Borthwick-Jackson)
  11. Marcus Thuram | signed for Inter

I can't seem to find the exact quote but I remember ETH saying that the player we get in Jan should be able to fulfill different roles. So I'm guessing a Striker who could also do a job on the wing. In that case Thuram does seem fit. 10-15m now is good value as he's young enough for us to...
  12. Darwin Núñez | Liverpool player | Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shish

I can see what you're getting at but Rashford is technically immense, agree with the comment about him bundling through players, it's sort of a trait for most dribblers. Darvin is mostly pace and power. Not very intricate with his dribbling and ball control. Those stepovers against Barca always...
  13. Darwin Núñez | Liverpool player | Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shish

I'm not sure how to correctly express it in words, but Nunez is a very instinctual striker. They don't think to much before striking the ball, when things go well, they go really well. Currently he's at the end of the spectrum where it's just going horribly bad for him. His time at Benfica...
  14. Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Form has dipped a lot, bad World Cup too.
  15. The Centre Forward Stop-Gap Market

Don't think he's ever played there + He would 110% struggle more over there than his favoured right wing position now.
