Mata looks 40 years older than his actual age out on the pitch. You sometimes wonder is it Scott McTominay's nan out there, trying to catch up with her grandson to give him his packed lunch that he forgot to bring with him.

He’s actually only 31, I thought he was older. Sadly he looks like he’s lost what little pace he had. Unfortunately in this current united setup that’s a big deal because the movement is so bad he can’t exactly sit back and pick passes. Look at David Silva at City, 33 years old and still looks good because the movement and intelligence of the other players don’t make him look like an old man. Stick mata in that team and I’m sure you’d see a positive difference in the player

ON THE WAY TO SERBIA
23 OCT 2019

Hello everyone,

Today I’m writing this post from the plane that will be taking us to Belgrade. We’re about to take off on our way to Serbia, where tomorrow we will continue our European campaign.

It’s an important game. On Sunday, as you all know, we drew with Liverpool and although a point will never be celebrated by Manchester United (especially when we were so close to beating a big rival of ours), it could be a result to help change the mood. This is what we have to show tomorrow, at a stadium that has a lot of history and in which I once played while I was in Real Madrid’s youth ranks at a friendly tournament. The atmosphere will without doubt be intense, but this is the type of occasion that you always want to play in. Hopefully it will be a good game and we will return to Manchester with a win.

Hugs, and I hope you all have a good week.
