I find it admirable that a team presses so hard like rabid animals for the entire match. However, that is not an excuse to foul repeatedly all over the pitch. They know exactly what they are doing and it should be rightly cut out by the ref at some point.

Weird game. Everybody looked dead on their feet, even Leeds were strolling about.
I do wonder what this season will take out of players in terms of longevity.

Beautiful day, should've went out and enjoyed the sunshine instead of wasting two hours on that dirt.

Carragher saying "This has been awful. Jesus...." was the highlight.

Over to Villa and West Brom to see if they can perform a miracle and steal last on MOTD from us.

Nothing game. Not sure why Ole took so long for subs. They never looked like a threat, we had a few half chances at best but our touch and passing was shite. Dan James was horrible today. Fred and McTominay pretty garbage too. Not sure who to say was motm... Maguire? Wasn't really threatened though. Shaw was alright but again didn't do a whole lot. Wan Bissaka maybe? Either way. Nothing game.

A game so bereft of technical quality, it should be slander to call it a Premier League game.

Why Cavani and Pogba didn’t start this game is beyond me. They were in the best form they’ve been in pretty much all season respectively, we had an entire week off, our next game is on Thursday.

Why?
Resting them for the Semi-Final obviously.

Leeds got what they played for in that match. Very defensive with a strong focus to stop Man United for creating goal scoring chances the very opposite of the Old Trafford encounter.

As for Man United, the unbeaten away run continues and only need 4 points from the remaining 5 games to finish in the top 4 for a 2nd season in a row.

Another game where I rightfully chose to ignore most of the game and instead spend time in the sun with the gf.

Carragher driven to offend all christians out there by the sheer shambles playing out before his eyes.

Leeds couldn’t play their game at all and completely dominated by us. They eventually played a low box almost the whole game. Bruno needs to find his cool back in front of goal.

Don’t recall a game with so many blocked shots or times we have dribbled right into a player an lost possession. Just looked like a team without instruction or a clue on how to break Leeds down.

Wonder what game you guys have been watching, this was a really good game of football.
Crazy to think it was the 33rd game of the season, plus cups and Europe, and both teams were running full speed for 95 minutes.

Didn't create many chances, but the game was good to watch.

Meh... pretty underwhelming result.

There’s been games when we have played better where we lost or drew, and worse where we have won.

Worst thing about this, if we drop points against the scousers and city win, the title is sealed.

Call me fickle, but i really hope we take these things into account when preparing for match days.

Lets face it, we are finishing top four , we werent catching City all before the game. Rest of our league games are almost insignificant for me, 2nd or 4th is the same.

Ole was right to rest players, would have like to see a youngster or two on the bench due to the above.

Saying all that, what an absolutely dire performance from both sides. Absolutely awful passing and touches for 90% of the game, Carragher was chuckling away in almost disbelief at how bad it was

I did wonder with about 15 minutes left whether or not this was in the back of Ole's mind. He wants that all time record, and probably had their late goal against City playing on his mind.

I didn’t mind resting key players for the SF, but playing James over VdB was a pisstake by Ole.

Poor game. Think we're out of gas to be honest, we've struggled to deliver high tempo performances for a while. Even then, I think we shaded it. Just hope we have enough in the tank for Roma.
It's not just us. The elite players in Europe have played non-stop since the summer of 2019 and we're witnessing the consequences these weeks and months. But that said, I think it was a fine game - high intensity against a tough opponent.

The players perhaps had one eye on the EL game this week and chose to conserve energy for it.

A point is plenty good enough given we're all but guaranteed top four anyway.

The players didn’t look interested in winning. Everyone looked tired which was strange considering they did not play midweek.
Attitude was dreadful today, along with the football. Mixed with Ole's late subs made for a really frustrating watch.

The occasional bouts of football really disrupted the flow of fouling.
So many fouls when we had beaten the press too. Shocking lack of words from the ref to them for it too. Just let it happen and was happy blowing his whistle at anything.

Shit game. Take James out and put in any other attacking player and we win that. He was completely useless today.
I agree. i think we win it if Greenwoood had started on the right instead of him.

Dan James was the one player in our team that looked like he was out of his depth. Could not make the right decision given the situation.
