Welcome to Manchester reception committee
It's that time of the year when the calendar catches up with us and we play against Chelsea. Chelsea are top of the WSL with 25 points. United are fourth on 18 points. City and Arsenal are on 22 points.

We've played them ten times, our record is
W0 D1 L9
Time for us to get a win against them :D

Unbelievable stuff. Well, the refs have given Chelsea a couple of those wins that should have been draws at least. But United need to deserve a win and actually win ASAP! Anything less than a W tomorrow and we are out of the title race!

Have to say I'm expecting the worst due to the past record, I guess Sam Kerr out gives us more chance

Maybe it's a bit more of a wild card since it's a while since the last proper match

Chelsea's form and their history over the past five years gives us very little chance, I'm afraid. I expect the worst, which is not like me.

That said, upsets do happen, and I agree with Rood that Kerr will be a big loss for them.

I'm optimistic. Then I asked the Mrs who knows way more about this than I do and she said 2-1 Chelsea at best.

So I'm putting a fiver on 2-1 United.
:D

I'm looking forward to this. I'd go for -

Earps

Riviere ... Le Tissier ... Turner ...Blundell

Zelem ... Ladd

Toone

Geyse ... Parris ... Galton
The first eight are pretty much set. Our options are really only in the forward line.
Edit: Garcia instead of Parris. Strange choice, given Parris' recent form.

Lineup pretty much the one we were expecting. Strong bench as well, though low on defenders admittedly. Parris starts on the bench.

Is Skinner doing the Harry Redknapp thing of not filling his bench to force the club to get him players and give himself an excuse? Surely there are academy players who can take up the remaining spots?

It’s becoming increasingly clear why Barcelona were happy to let Geyse go. She’s contributing absolutely nothing at the moment.

We are back in this, despite being schooled for the majority of the half. James and Charles have had way too much space, whereas we have had none at all - at least until Geyse woke up.

The last 10 minutes saw us playing a bit higher up. More of that please. And a note on the ref - yes, I know it is a difficult and thankless job, but the home decisions have been truly awful. The elbow into Zelem's head did not even get a free-kick.

Rubbish defensively but at least we got back into it

Its this kind of game where Skinner fails tactically every time that says he might have taken this team as far as he can

Don't think INEOS aren't keeping an eye on how he is performing as well. Wouldn't have been impressed with that first 30 mins

Ye that is a bit weird - sure some youth players would be ecstatic just to sit on the bench

I made the same point a couple of months ago. Okay, he has done well, and it is surely not his fault that we lost Russo and Batlle, but he is one who tries, eventually, to react to situations we should not be in.

That doesn't look good for Toone. She got stomped right on her Achilles' heel.

edit: Ladd gets the yellow card while Leupolz got nothing for a similar foul on Toone earlier.

He did it last week too, we had a lower league side at home and they had a full bench yet we didn't. Just seems odd even if he thinks they're not going to make a significant impact which would be fair enough.
