It really reminds of Fellaini. He seems like he should be a central midfielder but really he’s a striker or 2nd striker. McTominay shows his flaws in his passing and defensive midfield work. He ball striking and heading is fantastic.I've said it so many times. He is not worse than any of 100m signing this year in Premier League. West Ham for 30m? What a joke.
One of his best games for United for sureOnana my MoTM
Yes, square.Nope, Bruno ran in field... Yet again
He scores goals when played in advanced positions, of his 236 appearances probably near enough 200 have been in deeper roles. We should probably criticize his Scotland scoring record while ignoring he has played half his games there at CB.26 in 236 appearances - 7 of which are this season.
Hardly screams “the lad scores goals”.
Look I’m happy for him, but more often than not he disrupts our play and makes it difficult to build forwards; or is lacking any positional discipline costing us control.
Happy for Scott today, I think he has his uses, but let’s not make out he’s Lampard.
Don’t understand this “let’s jump to defend him and mock those who criticise him” attitude - when he was starting and we were doing poorly were all of you screaming to build the team around him because “he scores goals”?
Thats almost as good as the result, well played sir.Might be your prostate
because he started out as a striker & no.10It really reminds of Fellaini. He seems like he should be a central midfielder but really he’s a striker or 2nd striker. McTominay shows his flaws in his passing and defensive midfield work. He ball striking and heading is fantastic.
