Is a yellow for taking off your shirt the most stupid rule in footy?

There should be enough nuance there to at least not punish those who have undershirts on.

Since the point of the rule was to stop other cultures getting "offended" by topless men.

The nanny state is taking over. The list of public places you can’t take your shirt off is only getting longer. I wonder whose agenda is being served by that?

It’s a bit ridiculous if it’s about time wasting. Especially this season when they just add the time on now. Considering the amount of time they waste for VAR sometimes, it’s hardly much of an inconvenience when a player takes his shirt off.

Why celebrate at all? Just don't celebrate, walk back to the center and get on with it. You're there to do a job.
As one of the great thinkers of the modern age once said 'When i score, i dont celebrate because it is my job. When a postman delivers letters, does he celebrate?'

To be fair.. i still find it strange to see topless men in the supermarket during summer. I find it odd to go to a supermarket without a shirt.

I was thinking more like a soft play or a funeral, but yeah, Chris the store manager in Tesco Dagenham is a prick, too.

To the OP question: No.

It's in second place, behind the weirdness that is: You're allowed for your team to score directly because of your accidental handball in the opponents box as long as you're not the person who scores.
