I predict this will go like the city game. A wonder goal by rashford from 30 yards, then they dominate, we bend over and they end up winning 3-1

I hope you're right, as in we'll be better, but Mount, Bruno and Casemiro started the first game of the season against Wolves, and we looked as open as we have done pretty much all season.

From a tactical point of view, ten Hag goes with a man to man press in midfield, which leaves a massive gaping whole in the middle when the opposition midfielders drop deep for the ball.

It's silly, and something that will ultimately get him the sack at United, simply because he's too stubborn to change.
More Mount in the middle with Casemiro and Mainoo and Bruno on the right. It won't work with them both in the middle without an effective DM.

We did beat them as recently as a couple of weeks ago.
But then the idea of Maguire-Kambwala as a centre back combo screams worrying.

We need to at least hold them, as no-one else seems to be capable of doing so, and they'll just romp to the title otherwise.

Have to take some points off them, just sit in and have 0% possession. Can't have them winning the PL.

    Not sure if we're capable.
But less of the 10men gung ho sprint forward and forget to bother defending, like at 3-3 yesterday.

I'd happily not even enter their half. Whistle goes and we all run to the goal and form a human barrier, interwoven body over body covering every centimeter, the Manchester centipede. Then we wait, getting the ball hammered at our players but not crossing the line, for 90mins (plus how long klopp asks for at the end so about 15mins) and take the 0-0.

I think our only chance is the wildly unpredictable front boys.
There's not a chance in hell we'll hold them to 0 however silly a strategy we use.

This team just played the most open-ended game of the season where it was just constant running back and forth, to be sucker punched at the end. We lost two centre backs to injury and Casemiro was definitely not fit to start that match either. They'll be exhausted, physically and mentally. This is not a United team from 10 years ago where stopping Liverpool would be a huge motivation. They've just completely lost sight of CL qualification and for half of them they can warm to the idea of a new manager giving them more chances to prove they're not up for it.

Liverpool will smash us. And I don't think this Liverpool side is anything special. At all. I cannot understand how they are top of the league. Can only conclude that the league's been shite this season. I mean, we have been diabolical and we're still 6th. We're playing like a bottom half club.

It’s unfathomable how we are sitting in 6th place, with the diabolical performances of this season.
I usually watch all televised Utd matches (if I can’t get a ticket to be there), even if I fear we’re in for a certain defeat, but l the can’t bear the prospect of watching this game on Sunday and will be going to visit my daughter instead.
The crushing deflation at the end of last nights game and with the injury situation, there’s another embarrassing defeat coming our way.

Not that they will need much help, but the ref is a Liverpool fwend

We will beat them, will mean feck all really as they won't win the league either way.

We always knick a random result against a big side when we are in the midst of freefall.

    The Manchester centipede.

We’d still feck it up somehow!

All things been equal United could well be capable of earning at least a draw in this game but with such a makeshift back four and having to pick the chins off the floor after that ridiculous defeat Thursday night it's hard to see past Liverpool winning and if they win by a margin of 3 or more goals it will say a lot more about the current state United are in than anything else.

Looking forward to another game where we find defeat far deep into our own arses.

To make it even more painful, we've still got Arsenal as one of the last games at home. Could be one of those games we want to win but will hand these the title if we do.
Yeah it's a sickening dilemma indeed

    This could genuinely be bad.
Liverpool will get five or six goals and TenHag will still be coach on Monday.

Casemiro to get sent off with his sliding tackles. He has been sliding in for the last lot of games and just lucky that he is so slow to connect.

When Liverpool “only” beat sides like Fulham and Forest by the odd goal or two, why does it feel probable that they will give us a spanking?

I remember the days of looking forward to this fixture.

Dont get all the negativity. Yeah we are missing lads and yeah we are not great at the moment but it's Liverpool? If our lads can't get themselves up for this they should pack it in. They are going for the title and are nervy as hell.By all accounts they were lucky enough against Brighton and even last night. We have a cup semi coming up and a probable cup final. We should be able to put it up to them at least. Get into 'em.
Yeah the same lads that got themselves up for conceding 7 goals against this mob

We concede around 28 shots a game recently?

So if these muppets take even half their chances we could be shipping 14 goals...

Seeing as you know this for a fact don’t forget to put a bet on Liverpool scoring 5+ goals, it would be a big price and you will make a lot of money.

    We'll win this one

.....is what I'd be saying if our form didn't take a nosedive after FA cup win against them. We're going into this as another team. No consistency. No idea what's gonna happen. The team aged 2 years in 3 weeks. Weeks ago Bald is best now Bald is going to be scaked. I'm so tired.....

Interesting. Liverpool not so dominating away as I thought and likely to concede.

Utd to fluke a couple against the run of play 2 - 2

This game isn’t that interesting now in our perspective since we lost to Chelsea. If we lose they probably go on to win the title. If we win then we gift city the title. We won’t be finishing top 5. Alls we can do this season is help city by beating Liverpool and Arsenal at OT. What an awful season it’s been!

I’d take 0-1 with a dodgy penalty and tick off the trickiest away game left.

The reality of it will be an early rashford goal from a breakaway counter in the wide expanse behind our right back followed by 80min of us camped in the united half trying to break open a 10-1-0 formation to get 2 goals back.

It’s basically what’s going to happen.

If you come to play a game of footy and go toe to toe, there’ll be wide expanses of space to exploit and it would be a mauling.

Set up like Sheffield United did midweek and it becomes one of those really, really painful games for klopp.

You guys are perfectly setting yourself up for massive disappointment in Klopps finale season and it’s going to be a joy to behold.
