It's going to be a fecking blood bath with all the injuries we have, and the way we are currently playing.

We will probably score first then Liverpool will and we will do our usual captiulating. They will run like mad, we will be gassed after 20 minutes

I expect he will play McT in midfield and he will hide

Liverpool have something to play for so they will be manically pressing. We will probably try and show a bit of effort then run out of energy and the floodgates will open, especially with that dodgy defence

Even worse my husband supports Liverpool, so I won't be able to escape the cheering if I've left the room because I can't stand watching it anymore

Use the incentive of potentially stopping them winning the league. Not that Manchester United players should require any incentive they are paid shedloads and should show professionalism each game

The sickening thing is even if we get battered I can't see him getting the sack.

As we don't have hardly any fit defenders let's do what we did in extra time and play with barely any defensive players, just attacking ones and hope we outscore them (joke, or maybe not at this point!)

Maguire has generally done ok lately but I'm getting a feeling he's going to concede a penalty...

Going to stick a £5 bet on Liverpool scoring lots, so at least I get a bit of money in my pain. I did it in the FA cup and last league game against them, so maybe the reverse jinx?! The feckers will probably ease off and rest players a goal below what I'll predict them to get...

It'll be the easiest money ever to put on Liverpool to win if by some chance we are level with them or winning by the 90th minute

They always get late goals and we always concede them

Wonder if he will trust Kambwala or if he could put McTominay or Casemiro back there. Either seems risky.

I thought our energy levels actually looked pretty good for once against Chelsea but you never know with this team. Rashford and Mount should be reasonably fresh at least.

Dreading it gotta be honest. Can see a minimum of 4-0 loss and tbh anything better than that I’ll be happy. I really can’t stomach watching another 7-0.

the way we’ve been letting so many shots at us lately it’s not even an exaggeration to think Liverpool can score 5 or more out of the 30 shots they’ll potentially get. It’s sickening. Obviously hope I’m massively wrong but I’ve got more dread than usual going into this game.

Shit manager, shit tactics, shit players.
I really dislike the Scouse feckers as much as the next man but in all honesty they are unfortunately better than that.

I’d love a draw but I’d be absolutely fecking delighted and over the moon if we performa miracle and beat the Scouse feckers again.

If we had a defence I’d fancy us to give them a serious game. But we’re a walking mess to be honest so I’m expecting a comfortable 0-3 win for them. God I hate this period of our history.

Seeing as he was only on the pitch for part of the second half on Thursday, and either walked or jogged, Rashford will be fresh.

I dont think they will be as wasteful as they were in the FA Cup game :(
Were they really that wasteful in the FA Cup tie? Scored three goals and the best chances outside of the goals fell to United.

With such makeshift United defence and Liverpool pushing for the title I would expect them to create a lot more goal chances tomorrow so fingers crossed they are wasteful.

What I think ten Hag will play:

    Onana
    Dalot Casemiro Maguire Wan-Bissaka
    McTominay Mainoo
    Antony Bruno Garnacho
    Rashford

I see we're doing rhat same 'oh I hope we only get beaten 5-0' thing again. Cunning. Worked a treat the last time. As you were, men.

Why? Arsenal have the better goal difference.
I'm not sure we have a win in us, but a draw and someone actually standing up to Liverpool for once would be huge.
You might be right, but I think a draw today is a taller order for me than for you.

We will likely game raise and get points against them and then drop points next match

And that's perfectly fine. It's not as if we have anything in the league to play for. We should always be showing for this game, the biggest in the land.

We‘d all be delighted with a draw here to hinder their chances of the title. I know we’re all expecting a battering but we’ve shown before we can sit on these games and try and take a drab draw. My Issue is, if we put in a huge effort and get to near the end of the 90 with a positive result on the cards, the players will melt under the pressure of being know for bottling games at the death recently. That would honestly be the worst outcome for me. Would rather lose 0-3 than give them a last minute winner to boost their positive mindset for the run-in.

We’ve got to go all out here for every single challenge. The manager needs to remind them they can get a result to give something to the suffering fans today.

They always start nervously here. We have to score early and then frustrate the hell out of them. Would love to see another round of sour interviews from van Dijk with "only one team came to win, but we ended up losing".

Both times we have face those wankers, everyone was predicting a mauling. Those last 2 results against them have given me a little bit of belief. Hopefully that should give the players some encouragement and we can make a game out of it. I just hope ETH freshens up the team from Thursday.

Apparently Erik has claimed that the players will be angry for today’s game.

I'll take us losing every much till the end of the season if we can beat the scum to prevent them taking the title.

It’s basically what’s going to happen.

If you come to play a game of footy and go toe to toe, there’ll be wide expanses of space to exploit and it would be a mauling.

Set up like Sheffield United did midweek and it becomes one of those really, really painful games for klopp.
We went toe to toe about 3 weeks ago and United won 4-3 (and the only time in that match when Liverpool had control was when United went into their shell). I don’t see it happening again but there’s no doubt that United can cause Liverpool problems if they attack them.

I’ve been betting against my beloved United all season got 100/1 in 92nd minute for Chelsea to win amongst multiple other bets so I was fuming but ultimately £757 better off, if it’s tight or we are drawing or wining wait to the 90th minute for live better and put your house on us losing the game even if we are 2-1 up, this is ETH ball unfortunately, I hope for our sake we lose the money and you can deride your dear scouse loving husband, I told my wife day o one who had not selected a Uk football team as she’s from the balkans, support United or leave!

We’re at home so I’m expecting a similar game to the Fa cup. It will be very open as usual. There’s only 1 game ETH changes his approach for and that’s City. Liverpool aren’t as good on the ball and will play an high line which is where we can take advantage. The added motivation aswell is stopping them getting the title. Feel like this could be either 3-2 or a 4-3 game. Not sure who for though.

Like it was in the Fa cup you mean. If we come to play we’ll score a couple and so will you. Just depends on who can score 1 more.

If we get smashed 7-0 or more it's no less than we deserve. Do your worst Liverpool, I feel like this team needs it. We've been getting away with conceding 25-30 shots a game so it's time we learned.

Could be we emulate our under 18's and beat them 9-1?

We are going to lose 1-3

    ..................Onana..........

    Dalot.Maguire.Kambwala...AWB
    ........Mainoo.....McT..................
    ...................Bruno.......................
    Antony................................Garnacho
    ...................Højlund..........................

This is how I think we will line up. But I would prefer McT in central defence instead of Kambwala. Kambwala is no where near good enough, and McT is not a perfect choice, but he does have experience.

The way we're playing and the way we're defending with 30+ shots conceded every game, this could easily be double figures for Liverpool if we can't pull something out of the bag, and if EtH can't figure out football tactics finally.

Playing Rashford and McTom would mean a hammering, I'm convinced about that. It's hard enough to play a firing, Asthmatic Liverpool side without doing it with 9 and a half players (McTom counts as half for his occasional attacking attempts).

I'd imagine the Liverpool players and fans will be more nervous about this than we are.
I think the players will feel they have a point to prove as they've been butthurt twice this season. I'm sure van Dijk would love to leave OT with that smug, arrogant smirk reinstalled on his face.
