1 title in 32 years and Scouse Sports think they’re worthy of having almost half the players in a combined XI. The media love-in and bias towards these cnuts is beyond unbearable.
I'd have Gerrard and Salah and that's about it

I'd rather Trent over Neville than Robertson over Evra
I’d rather throw Trent in the fecking Trent. I know it’s further to travel than the Mersey but you know what I mean, his defending is pretty abysmal, as for the rest of that combined team:nono: Oh and where is King Eric??

Why isn’t Vidic in there? And I’d have Evra over Robertson. He’s won 1 league title in about 7 years.

    True.

It's just Ive never, ever, and I mean ever, seen a team of Uniteds calibre be so pourous. It's truly baffling because I dont think the players or coach are THAT bad but we just are.
Oh absolutely. It's just weird how it works sometimes. Logically we should get battered today.

Sky Sports are nothing but a Liverpool propaganda channel that’s why.
It’s ridiculous how biased they are. I’m guessing Neville’s gonna commentate our game later, not looking forward to 90 mins of bigging up Liverpool

Yep. You’d think having one of our own in there in Neville he’d constantly be fighting against their bullshit but instead adds to the pile on most of the time when commenting on our games.

I hate the eyes emoji. I hate all emojis these days tbh. It’s all part of the splintering and infantilisation of discourse and the extremes that people operate in now.

    There's only one United!
Before the Chelsea game, I'd have gone with Rashford, Hojlund and Garnacho, but Antony has been showing signs of decent form of late, playing a big part in us beating Liverpool in the FA Cup, and arguably our best player against Chelsea. Therefore, I believe ten Hag may keep him in, meaning Hojlund, Rashford or Garnacho has to drop out.

With Rashford, ten Hag basically said that he rested him against Chelsea, and so you'd expect him to come back in. He's also a big game player. Not sure what his record is, but that should certainly go in his favour.

Garnacho, at 19, has been our most consistent attacking player this season. Again, superb the other night against Chelsea, deservedly bagging two goals. He needs to start! The only thing I worry about is him being overplayed. As I said, he's only 19, so he needs to be looked after.

Then you have Hojlund, who I think he's been quite poor since coming back from his injury. Therefore, I feel if anyone is going to come out of the team, it could be him.

Alternatively, ten Hag could just go with the front three that played in the FA Cup, with the likes of Antony, Amad, Mount and co. coming on to hopefully have an impact on the game in some capacity.
I understand what you're saying but my only reservation is regards to Rashford.
His attitude sucks so i prefer anyone else to him
Hope United sell him soon as he's become a disgrace.

To start with Irwin and Vidic were better than Robertson and VVD.

Rashford, at OT against Liverpool. He plays. Even in this form.

Note, I did put what I think ten Hag will play. Plus, I also think Rashford was fine against Liverpool before the international break, both on and off the ball.

Ironically, he’s probably in the best form of any of our attackers anyway (appreciate Garnacho scored twice on Thursday but he really should have done even more with the space Chelsea gave him and he looks tired to me).

I’d start Rashford-Hojlund-Amad for that reason. I’d ideally rest Hojlund as well but I don’t see a way to sensibly do that.

With the possible exception of Salah, who would make the bench because Beckham and Ronaldo keep him out of the team, not a single Liverpool player gets in.

The only ones I would even consider aren't even on this ridiculous team (prime Owen, Fowler and Suarez).

    Actual team would be:

    Van Der Sar
    Neville Rio Vidic Irwin
    Ronaldo Scholes Keane Giggs
    Rooney Fowler

Decided at the last minute that Fowler makes it.

Edit: only left out Cantona because he didn't fit in up front with Rooney.

Any news on who is available from Varane, Casimero, Evans?

I'd throw Kambwala in there, go for a MF of Mainoo, Casimero (or McT) Mount and Bruno with Garnacho and Hojlund starting up front.

We must must be more solid or we are going to be smashed.

Start Mount anyway cos I've been impressed with him since he's come back and he'll run himself into the ground which is what we need.

    Won't bother either.
I think the most likely result is we get sound beaten and barely look in the game. Probably the only thing holding my interest was the FA Cup game. Even though Liverpool were in control for a lot of the game, we at least were pretty competitive. It's games like this where we may up our game.

    United minus the Glazers
Even if we win this we won’t be getting CL football next season. Our only incentive here is to stop Liverpool winning the title which won’t matter anyway because either City or Arsenal will emerge as champions. Bit of a nothing game for us at least …given our current fortunes.

I genuinely wouldn't have Gerrard over Carrick. If I'm being unbiased Neville over Trent is a bit controversial.

How bad have we become that there’s a match at old Trafford against Liverpool with just a few games of the season to go and people don’t even want to watch it

Terribly bad. In days gone by I'd be a nervous wreck. Now it's just like wanting it out of the way as we know what will happen.
United are not a team I want to watch at all.

This was the expectation for the previous two games and United managed a draw and win. Admittedly that was partly due to Liverpool messing about in the final third, but still. Could be a close game.

EtH seems to have this Ole-esque ability to get a result when it seems unlikely and his position is under scrutiny. Very unpredictable team.

Yes, that is true. But I feel that Liverpool will have learned more from the FA cup game compared to us and we’ll be schooled.

I reckon if we lose heavily today EtH will be gone. Past 2 managers have been dismissed after Liverpool losses. Seems to be becoming a thing.

What does that even mean? They were trying rabonas in front of an empty goal and got it wrong? They kept hitting the bar despite cutting us open many times? I don't think so. Their best efforts on the day were not good enough, that's all.

Let’s not forget that Klopp has beaten ten Hag’s United just once (albeit badly). Lost in pre-season 22, at OT in August 22, in the FA Cup (4-0, 2-1, 0-7, 0-0, 4-3).
    Predicting a 2-2 draw here.
