Nah, he was grand. Did a job not many 5th choice CBs would do.
Kambwala had to follow him round wiping his mouth with a bib FFS. I've got him 7th choice if he's going to perform like that.

I actually thought this game was to be played in the evening so missed the first half. Seems like they could've scored 3 instead of 1 in that period. Thankfully that mistake from Quansah and great shot by Bruno changed the game. We improved much after it and then another great goal, well done Mainoo. Felt we'd win from that moment so a real shame about Wan Bissaka conceding a penalty, but we can't complain much, 2-2 draw is something I would've gladly taken before the game.

Good result that doesn't change the fact that we're shite.

A draw probably doesn’t suit either team but a draw is probably what we deserved at most. Fantastic goals Bruno and Mainoo gave us a hope but another penalty conceded scuppered that.

Exactly. Bruno scores an epic goal, ran himself into the ground, and gets rated lower than most of the team here. It fulfills a bizarre need, our players standing in as proxy effigies.
His goal was well taken but other than that he was pretty poor today, I lost count of the amount of times he passed the ball straight to a Liverpool player.

Got more than we deserved so cannot complain about the result. I can only complain about how average the players are, lack of structure and weird substitutions again. Amrabat for Garnacho? The guy can barely run, mount for mainoo? How did casemiro and bruno even stay on? I think we hold on to the win if Hag was smarter. Either way, the season is done, hoping we can hold on to 6th place now cause the race for that is now wide open after dropping 7 points in 7 days. Only bit of pride we can salvage is the fa cup, maybe we get to the final again but I'd expect to be slaughtered by city in the final.

It might be our cup final this season but if this draw means those cnuts don't win the league I'll be happy.

But we were lucky and I feel like I'm watching the same shit every week and nothing changes. We're turning into a mishmash of Chaos Ball and Moments FC. I'll add some more pointless phrases now. Double pivot. Overload. Soap.

The number of conflicting opinions in this thread on player performances is interesting because it highlights how we’re still “moments FC” when it comes to exerting our influence on the football pitch.

He surprised me, and I think he was one of our best today. Before the game I did not rate him very high and saw a future for him in the championship, so I was really surprised by this perfomance.
Only 19 years old and play really well in his rare start in the game of this magnitude. Hope he gets more start from now on.

Mo Salah definitely cuts his own hair, no way a professional barber does a trim like that.

kelleher deffo draws his beard on as well.

Would he rather saved his energy like Rashford?
I'd rather he channel his energy into something a bit more productive, rather than mindlessly pressing players, whining at the ref, giving the ball away while attempting Hollywood passes.

Glad we were able to rain on their parade. At some point AWB’s propensity to always go in with a sliding tackle was going to cost us. That can’t be your major weapon.

Understand the sentiments but hopefully our cup final will be the cup final , only thing that saves this horrible season now is to win that.

Take it all day long to derail that lot. Kambwala fantastic. Another daft error for the penalty on the same side of the pitch, we badly miss having a proper left back.

Our season is done now, play fringe players for the rest of it, go for the cup.

You'd take the draw but it's disappointing after leading the game fairly late on. More points thrown away from a winning position.

In truth both teams threw away the win. Liverpool really should have consolidated their lead in that first half. And we then with us winning, we should have seen out the game. The penalty itself from Wan Bissaka was so unnecessary. He really lunged in on a player that wasn't even really going anywhere.

Third game in a row we have thrown away a lead late on
Liverpool could (and maybe should) have been out of sight tbh, not sure we were worth the win. Holding out would have been nice, but we all would have taken this prematch.

To be fair given our insane injuries in defence that was some result.

The only team that matters
He still offers a threat. Amrabat coming in made us sit back with 15 minutes still to play, and that absorption of pressure you can argue led to conceding that penalty.
Garnacho offers a threat yes, but he also loses possession a lot and that often leaves us wide open, ETH didn't get this one wrong

We have taken 4 points off them this season and knocked them out of the cup. Hopefully they lose they title by 1 point.

+One point that most in here would have taken pre-match
+Two points that most LFC fans would consider to have lost
+Able to keep most of the shots against off target
+Youth continuing to step up

-Casemiro, Wan Bissaka, Rashford all disappointing (although Rash was not the worst we've seen him).
-Beleaguered for most of the match, again.
-Pass accuracy at 77% and an astonishing 31% on long balls (not including crosses) is terrible.

We have dropped seven points from winning position (doesn't matter if we deserved to be in winning position) in last three games.

Madness to think we were probably a combined 10-15 mins away from 9 points in the last 3 games and we've ended up with 2.

Look, we're shite.

We all know this, today if Liverpool had been clinical they'd have won the game by HT.

So I think we should be happy with the point and not dwell too much on throwing away another lead. I thought we'd get hammered today and yet we've not. We've also damaged their bid for the title, two draws in the league and knocked them out the cup in Klopps last season at Liverpool. That's better than anyone could have hoped for.

Individual stupidity cancels out the individual brilliance of our goals. I’ll take the draw.

I was happy enough not to lose, that's the disappointing reality of expectations with current side but it was a soft pen to give away. Diaz not getting the winner near the end for them was a surprise bonus. I know it hurts their title run but they are still well in it, Arsenal have us, no way am I wanting to lose that one. But that's about them. For us, I still can't figure what we're doing on the pitch, we are so poor at times. Trying to take solace from the youngsters coming through. Anyway, enough fun today to accept the result, at the end of a very difficult week.

And could have conceded 12/13 goals very easily across those games.

Legion of chaos.
