Just pray that somehow the team that beat Liverpool in the QF will show up again in the final. This team is too inconsistent and unpredictable. If the "A Team" show up again we might have slight chance. This is a one off game at Wembley and anything can happen.

Even if we won FA Cup I am still ETH out. His football is simply shocking especially after 2 years!

Why do people keep saying we'll get smashed? We've seen it for the 3 Liverpool games this season and countless other games like last year's final.

Yes today was bad, but we had cruised a 3-0 up first, and then it fell apart big style.

We without any doubt at all need some defenders back for the final.

It's in City's hands. If they play well they'll win. We all know they'll get a feck ton of chances

Can't tell you how much I want to see an interim manager in charge for this. Going into the game with ten Hag is basically waving a white flag.

I mean, City have been very comfortable against United in all but 1 game at Old Trafford last season. They hammered us twice this season. It's a Manchester Derby cup final and yet... nobody has the slightest bit of belief in the game. Wild.

Let’s hope ETH has proved his point and won’t sub off Garnacho. Yet on the other side that giant fecking turd can do what he wants

Where the grass is greener.
I fully expect it'll be a crap watch. Generally for better, more often for worse, our games have been entertaining even if its at our expense. This one will be tumescent.

I actually think we ARE destined to win this.
The nature of our last minute winner v Liverpool after coming from behind, twice. Surviving that almighty scare v Coventry today including a crucial last minute offside.
The fact that this is a straight up rematch from last year's narrow 2-1 defeat.

Early red card for them, Rodri, then take it on home!
I actually also believe that we will win this. Not because we're any but just because.

Can't wait to see how many times Rashford breaks down an attack.

Any chance Martinez and Shaw will be back for this?

City won't be playing their A-game as they tend to do in finals. I think we're in with a chance if we keep our discipline and convert the small amount of chances we create into goals.

Dig up stupid!
City were shit on Saturday, a curse on Chelsea for not knocking them out. Will the cl exit create a malaise for them to the end of season? I doubt it personally buy its perhaps our only hope

From our pov we've had a hammering coming in the post all season and I've no doubt it'll arrive before it ends. Its odd but I kind of hope it arrives before the final as it may at least generate a response. If it doesn't arrive by then this final could be horrific

I have no confidence in the squad as a whole, unfortunately. It's simply too schizophrenic.
Wouldn't this mean that we actually have a good shot then? Almost lose to Coventry and then beat the allmighty, tactico data darlings City115 CyberPep team?

Fluky pen and an impotent attacking display from City is our best chance. Very small possibility of a win though.

Glasgow resident these days.
Looking at the projected time frame from when they picked up the injuries, we should have: Shaw, Martinez, Varane, Evans, and Mount back for this. Without additional league fixtures, the last few weeks of the season aren't hectic, so players will/should have time to be ready for this. I appreciate this works equally for City too, but with a full squad and a dropped Rashford, we might turn up and give them a game.
Ideally, it will be with a new manager, but I don't see that happening unfortunately.

No chance.. Will we have CBs will we have a CM we can at least bring decent sub on.. Mainoo and Garnacho go off they fell apart.. Antony just kept giving the ball away the guys a poor pro..

If we can get a good 14 players available then maybe.. we have a slight chance..maybe et or pens ..or a 90+4 winner ...who knows

We won't get slaughtered result wise, but it will be the most dominating match you'll ever see. Around 80% posession for Shitty and like 30-3 attempts.
They will clearly beat us, something like 3-0, but a heavy dose of luck and Ten Hag parking the bus to save his job will prevent a 6 or 7-0, which it would clearly be if we played in his normal rubbish setup.

Still it will be another depressing match as a United supporter, pretty much like every City match since he took over. It looks and feels like we're a League 1 side against them.

Was travelling and so missed second half and ET of both the Liverpool match and yesterday's. Almost had heart attacks when looking up both scores afterwards.

Anyway, now got to find the cheapest ticket for any flight that takes off exactly when the second half starts in the final. Doing my bit for the club.

Surely for a one off final we'll see different tactics and we'll just sit in and hope to counter? If we play whatever it is we play with the midfield exodus, it'll be about 6-0 to City.

We can win this… ETH is the luckiest manager in the game.
Of course there is a chance that United can win on their day.

But unlike vs Klopp, Pep seems to have the Midas touch vs ten Hag. 5 games and 4 wins. All very comfortable wins. 15 goals scored compared to 7 conceded.

The only time we beat them was 2-1 at home courtesy of a very controversial goal. Rashford was offside and interfering with play. We'd need similar luck.

ETH is just managing the game time for Garnacho and Mainoo. Both young and Garnacho especially has played too much this season. Really heavy load for a teenager.

No Gundogan and no de Gea this time.

Shouldn’t we have most our injured players back by then?

This will be a bloodbath
Citeh play into our hands. I’m not suggesting we’ll win…or even play well. Just that they won’t have a low block, will have most of the possession which then enables us to play what this squad is better at…counter.

Still expecting citeh to dominate and eventually win. They’ll be massive favourites. But we have a chance

Us winning by anything less than an 8 goal margin would be a tragedy.
