The only Asian horror film that I can remember (and also enjoyed) is A Tale Of Two Sisters. It's worth checking out if you haven't seen it. If zombie films also count then you must add Train To Busan to your list.

I think @Dirty Schwein is the horror expert in here. He even directs horror short films!

Yeah, The Wailing's good.

The HOST by Bong Joon ho is fun, though its more of a monster movie.

House (1977) is a fun, surreal and dizzy little horror film.

Oh, and Ringu ofcourse.

in No particular order

The Ring (Japanese one)
Jelangkung (Rizal Mantovani's)
Shutter (Legend they say)
The Medium (Thailand)
Incactation (Taiwan)

My favorite is : Rigor Mortis (HK by Juno Mak) it's not scary perse but the atmosphere and acting is very good, I even enjoy the drama bit and it's not even a drama it's horror packed from the beginning

Just finished watching The Wailing yesterday. Great film!

Currently watching Noroi: The Curse.

Anyone into Asian horror? Any recommendations?
Thanks for the tag @Scandi Red I have so many to recommend. Will do once I get back to my hotel.

Already some great recommendations here though. Rigor Mortis, Gonjiam, Dark Water etc are so much fun.

Some great suggestions so I won't repeat. Here are a few more:

Suicide Club
Marebito
One Missed Call
Satan's Slaves (1 & 2)
I Saw The Devil
One Cut Of The Dead (horror comedy)
23:59
Macabre
Ichi the Killer

Annihilate Now!

...or later, I'm not fussy

If "I Saw The Devil" qualifies then "The Chaser" surely does.

Probably my favourite East Asian film.

Ju-on (The Grudge) is good but the TV series is better IMO.

Ringu and a couple of it's sequels are good.

The Train to Busan, though really, it's a zombie movie but is fantastic.

Everyone recommending Audition should consider that it's definitely not for everyone.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (Iran). it gets better the worse you feel at the moment of watching, I think. I'm a bit surprised it hasn't been mentioned already.
