Casey was interviewed on Woman's Hour today - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000k3fm - her interview starts around 11:40 in.
Apparently United have done what they could to stay in action, but they're in close season now, with Casey and her staff looking at how they will handle the t. The players were set up to train at home, own training plans, equipment sent to their houses, group zoom sessions were held and wellbeing support continued. Once the season was suspended, their holidays started. They'll be back in training in July ready to restart in September.
And another nice insight into the conduct of the club during the crisis, the interviewer asked: "How have the team been coping financially?"
United have been incredible during the period... Not even a mention of furlough, everyone has been fully paid... The club have been a shining light and massively supported the team… It gives you a lot of trust in the club and it's given us stability in an uncertain time.
