Milan - Kaka's not for sale

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has played down speculation that continues to suggest Kaka could move to Manchester City.

The talismanic Brazilian has been linked with a switch to Eastlands ever since the Abu Dhabi United Group took control at City and immediately made bold exclamations with regards transfer policy.

Kaka has been mooted as a possible target and on Tuesday it was reported senior City representatives had met with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani to discuss a possible transfer.

City's sensational capture of Robinho under the nose of Chelsea proved Mark Hughes' side have the spending power to entice world class talent, but Berlusconi insists Kaka is not for sale.

"I know nothing about a Manchester City offer for Kaka," said Berlusconi.

"I think he's not transferable and given that is the case, he will stay at Milan."

In November the 26-year-old admitted he was flattered by City's reported interest, while at the same time accepting a Milan exit would be difficult.

It's on SSN now: MANCHESTER CITY OPEN TALKS WITH AC MILAN OVER SIGNING KAKA.

He'd have to insanely fecking stupid to go do City. Surely bollocks.

Maybe he's as fond of money as Robinho is. Kaka's also been whinging quite a bit this season about having to play in a less favoured position to accommodate Ronaldinho.

Ludacrous.

If Kaka goes to City, it'll confirm my suspicions tht he's nothing more than a grade A cnut.

I can just imagine how those 'talks' were opened.

-"Erm, d'ya, erm, fancy selling us Kaka, like?"
-"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.......Oh, you're serious? No. Now feck off you cnuts."
-"Erm, what about the lad, Costacurta?"
-"He's retired, you fecknuts."
-"So is that a maybe, or.....?"
-"Seriously. feck off."

I can see it happening to be honest, very much so. Robinho is there with Elano and Jo so there is already a Brazillian influence there, they WILL buy some players of substance in the summer and gradually the idea, or hoping, will be they will challenge into the Top Four or even the title over two or three years.
But what makes me laugh is that despite their money, they are attempting to buy Craig Bellamy, a vagabond arsehole with as many clubs to match Anelka. Can they not see these players are 40-50% players at best? Talented but effectively whingeing arseholes bad for the changing room......

I don't see Kaka being the money grabbing type to be honest. I think he always likes the speculation about his future, but to move to Shitty.

Even he would know that would be a serious downfall for a once BPITW.

The only reason he would possibly go from Milan to relegation candidates is for money and he doesn't seem the type to me.

Even if Milan accept a bid, Kaka might refuse to go

Strong rumours say they are on their away out apparently.

Jo after just signing in the summer, thats how much of a flop he has been but apparently Hughes never really wanted him.

I wouldn't dismiss this out of hand.

Everyone has their price. He might sacrifice a season in the CL (which he's already done with Milan) for the promise of enormous wealth and the opportunity to play in a team of galacticos next season.

These cnuts are absolutely minted and remember how quickly Chelsea went from also-rans to winners of the league, with an owner who wasn't as rich?

So yesterday City failed with a bid for Craig Bellamy. So instead today they move for Kaka

Wonder how Kaka feels being 2nd pick to that taffy twat.

Weren't Chelsea already a top 3 side when Abramovitch joined them though?

Can't remember if they were top 3 or not but they were a better side than City, that's for sure. Still, we've seen over the last two seasons that the bitters are capable of looking like a decent side, every now and then. Some good young English/Irish players there. Bit like Chelsea when they were taken over.

Hughes is struggling. He has access to 'the pot of gold' and is looking for players from Blackburn and Newcastle. Everything I hear suggests he wants to recruit allies, further suggesting that he's struggling to handle some of the egos that have been recruited over his head.

Hughes is one of my all time favourite players and I'd love to see him succeed as a manager, even with The Massives (within reason), but I fear his days are numbered. He should pack up now and become Fergies No. 2 :smirk:

20 page thread on bluemoon already about it

They're so deluded.

I honestly think it will take them years to be a top class side challenging for the PL and CL. I could be wrong, but City will always be a very unattractive side to go to, footballers can get paid shitloads at an already established big club that challenges for trophies so what's the point in going to a side struggling against relegation?

They can play OK sometimes but they're so inconsistent.

Even they do sign him he cant do it all on his own. They need at least another 8 players.Personally dont think that he will make the move for at least another while

They finished in a Champions League entry winning 4th place remember.

Thats why he bought them, it was a match between Chelsea in 5th and Liverpool in 4th on the last day of the season. Chelsea won and got into the Champs league.

Its been reported that that was in every since a billion pound match, as Abramovich bought them that summer.

But no they were not a top 3 club.

no, they had just scraped 4th place from Liverpool on final day of the season.

before abramovich came they finished

11th, 6th, 5th, 6th, 6th, 4th

He won't win things with Craig Bellamy, you're right. If you had an endless supply of cash, why go for him? He should be making moves for Kaka, Adriano, Michael Owen etc, top quality players, not fecking toothy Welsh cnuts who are West Ham at best.
A better option in my opinion for Highes would be to try and recruit veteran, but still high quality, players like Seedorf and even a Cannavaro who may harbour ambitions of playing Premier League having played at the top and looking for a challenge and a last HUGE payday. At least with these guys you know they will install stability and a likely vast improvement.

Football exclusive: KAKA DREAMS OF PLAYING FOR UNITED

World Player of the Year, Kaka, has declared his dream for playing for Manchester United in an exclusive interview with a local Milan radio station. The news will come as a pleasant surprise to the European Champions amidst uncertainty about Cristiano Ronaldo's future. It is said that the hierachy at United see Kaka as the only replacement for Ronaldo, should he leave.

Speaking from his home, Kaka revealed, "I love Milan. I've had a great time here, won the Champions League and some great memories. But football is all about challenges and I feel I'm ready for a new one."

After Milan's failure to qualify for this years Champions League many pundits felt this was Kaka's chance to move on.

"I'm young and at the peak of my football and want to play at the biggest level. The Premier League is the best league in the world and it'd be fantastic to be a part of that. And obviously Manchester is the best place to be at right now. They are European Champions, so it's fantastic no? And when I played there last year, it was a great atmosphere." Kaka added

The opportunity to play with the stars at United is an added attraction. "United have some great players. Giggs and Scholes are legends. Then there's Rooney. And also Anderson who is a good friend of mine."

And when asked if he'd like to play at United his answer was straightforward, "Yes, how can anyone say no? They are European Champions. It will be a dream come true."

This news will no doubt shock Carlo Ancellotti who has just recently pledged his future to Milan. But Sir Alex Ferguson will no doubt sleep easier tonight, knowing that should his star man leave there's another eager to take his place.

First the Torres backflip over him shooting Liverpool to glory only to say the next day United are favourites, now this from Kaka; MINT!

Surely Kaka has more class than to join City...they won't be able to trick him by referring to themselves by just saying "Manchester"

Just checked Wikipedia, and you're totally right. Oops.

Anyway, they were still one hell of a lot better than Citeh, who were getting relegated in those seasons and are still battling against it now.
