Henman IS popular in England and even if YOU dont like him, there are others who do. It isnt as if he gets so much support at games and the demand for Centre Court tickets is high when he is playing there, because he isnt popular.

Why not call it Henman Hill?? The hill and big screen have been introduced during his time, he is the best British player for years and like him or not 5 Wimbledon semi finals is a pretty good effort. Who knows, this might even be his year.

By the way my first Q was why call it Henman Hill I never asked about how popular he is - I know he is popular I follow media etc.

If he wins Wimbledon (pigs might ...) then maybe next year he could lay claim (little bit anyway)
