Seems like there's feck all.

There's a gap in the market for some kind of shite variety show or interview show to be on Christmas! Have watched the Never Mind the Buzzcocks Christmas special, Home Alone 1/2, Die Hard and we are considering Willy Wonka next but it would be nice to watch something new!

Anyone got anything?

Hallmark Christmas movies. There are about 30 new ones every year, each more cheesy and ridiculous than the previous ones.

Decided to watch Goldeneye. No real reason, but I’m pleased as hell, it was a good choice

She’s a business focused lady passing through town. She needs an idea for her Christmas project at work but she doesn’t really get Christmas and hasn’t for a long time because she’s so focused on work. A blizzard hits town and she’s snowed in. It’s going to be a week before she can leave. Disaster!

The house she is staying in is owned by a lady who has a son and a granddaughter. Her daughter in law died when her granddaughter was young and despite being the most eligible bachelor in town with a bullet dimple chin, he’s never found another love.

The granddaughter really takes to the lady passing through town and with a bit of help from the grandma she’s soon found herself in a romance with bullet dimple chin. Finally she understands Christmas again and it’s helped her sort her project out at work. But you know what she’s focused on work for too long and she’s ready to be a great step mother and good Christian stay at home wife for bullet dimple chin.

Just did Home Alone 1 & 2 back to back. Anything after that is a bonus.

Downloaded some old Christmas classics from youtube. The generation game, noels house party, big break, the two ronnies, and some other stuff. The biggest thing was seeing genuine joe bloggs coming on to play game shows. And not just a torrent of media savvy wannabe famous feck nuggets that seem to propagate every corner of the modern tv landscape.

As for new stuff, hallmark christmas movies. But you really have to be in the mood for them. They are cheesy as all feck and with a heavy dollop of cringe on the side. The Not going out Christmas special was good this year. Currently giving the Santa Clauses on D+ a bash. Seems a lot more aimed at kids than the movies were. Not terrible though. And if you wanna watch Michael Owen at his cringe monster best, give the christmas special of Deal or no deal a go.
