Marco Reus

His fitness is a big concern considering he's 28 years old not a young player any more. Better to avoid him.

We can get other very good player that can stay fit for longer time.

Very good player, nice touch, smart, with goal. But he is injury prone and right now that's a dealbreaker.

Stay away from Reus, he is always injured. No big club will ever buy him. Feel very bad for him of course, but not really, he is super rich.

No thanks, we need someone on the right, and an improvement in the middle more.

His injury record is as bad as Kompanys. Great player but not even worth getting him on a free as he'd do more damage than good.

He has been quoted the biggest attacking talent in Germany since 2010 but he has played one tournament for Germany since 2010. That was the Euro´s 2012.. He has played 29 caps and 10 of them came 2012! We would be nuts buying him.. 2012,2014,2016 are all tournament years.

We should not even think about it. He's injured more than he plays and can't be young anymore. Still, I'm sure some would want him.

I'd imagine this is posturing to make sure he get's one big contract at Dortmund. Maybe Arsenal would be silly enough to buy such a crock, but I very much doubt we would be interested.

Disaster signing. Far too injury prone, Reus is a million miles from the player he once was.

Look at how Mourinho treats injured players. Doesn't want to believe Pogba even exists anymore. He clearly has an agenda vs Shaw. Also had a pop at Smalling/Jones too. Not sure adding Reus is the smartest move.

Maybe like four years ago.

But now he hasn't really progressed as he should have and obviously the injuries. So no thanks.

He'd have been a dream signing a few years ago but he's had too many injuries and is too often sidelined.

Even at 28/29 I would welcome the signing, but only if he wasn't injury prone...

Much prefer Perisic who is the same age, more versatile as he can play in various positions, stronger and less injury prone.

Fantastic player, but for the money just not worth it, he's hardly ever fit.

Such a shame as he was 1 of my favourite players in the early Klopp Dortmund years.

I always wanted him here, but it's not worth the risk at this point.

It only makes sense for Arsenal if they are keeping Jack Wilshire - he'd make great company in the medical room.

Not true, he is still world class when fit.

He is better than Lingard for sure. When he plays he always makes something happen. It's worth the risk. Jones is also injury prone and he is still at the club, so why not Reus ?

That's definitely wrong, he's one of those players who instantly perform when being able to play again. Sadly that's about a month every year or so it seems.

It's an overused term but in this context it fits: He's a luxury signing. If you can afford him to occasionally give the team a boost when fit then he's still a useful signing however every team in the world would be mental to plan with him as a relying first team piece.

I remember Arsenal fans use this argument about Wilshere. Something about setting a standard by allowing Diaby to be around for 9 years or something like that.

We shouldn't buy injury prone players and we shouldn't sign Dortmund players. Reus ticks both boxes.

Debuchy also barely plays and is there for a very long time. United has a history with this aswell, with Hargreaves and now Zlatan. It baffles me that alot of people on here doesn't want Reus.

He's suffered so many injuries, not sure exactly what he has left. Was such an exciting player to watch a few years ago.

Would give us a dozen brilliant performances, and then he'd turn into Owen Hargreaves MK II.

Reus did recently say that he may leave in the next few years. But, I'm not sure a deal makes sense as he'll likely be injured for more than he'll be fit for us. He'll only have a year left on his contract in the summer, but Dortmund will still manage to get £40m+ and given that he'll ask for very high wages, I think there are better alternatives out there. Great player still when fit though.
