NJ Nets v LA Lakers

after 2 years living stateside, i have finally gone and got myself an american team to follow...the New Jersey Nets!

went to my first live b-ball game last week (against the Toronto Raptors) then watched 'em beat Shaq n co. last night so i'm sold. plus...lovin' me some Brian Scalabrine!

yeah i just noticed it.

glory hunter? no way! like i said, first live b-ball game EVER! shouldn't i support them? plus NJ is just across the river...makes more sense than supporting an LA team!

How do you figure that?

I played BBall for years, 10 maybe, and followed the NBA loads during that time, its not on as much as it used to be so my viewing is limited now.

i am hoping they can get to the finals again this year to prove last yr was not a fluke.
