Reckon we will play 4-5-1, with either Forlan or Solskjaer on the left. Could be interesting to see Forlan in that position actually, given his pace.

I reckon we will play with:

GK: Barthez
RB: P. Neville
LB: Silvestre
CB: G. Neville
CB: Blanc
RM: Beckham
CM: Scholes
CM: Keane (or Stewart if Keano isn't fit)
CM: Butt
LM: Solskjaer
ST: Forlan

I think we will be looking at

Barthez
Neville.P. Neville.G. Blanc Silvestre

Beckham Butt Schoales Fortune
Giggs

Solskjaer/Forlan

If Solskjaer struggless I think then the boss will give Forlan a go he may even replace Giggs. Giggs will fall back or get forward depending on how much of the ball united have. If we dominate he will virtually be the second forward.

Nahhhh, I reckon this is going to be a straight 4-4-2:

-------------------- Barthez ---------------------

--- G Nev ---- Johnsen --- Blanc --- Silvestre ---

-- Beckham ---- Butt ----- Scholes ----- Giggs ---

----------- Solskjaer ----- Forlan ----------------

I reckon Giggsy's worth a run up front pace/skill and finishing.

That's certainly possible, but was Fortune or Chadwick on the flight to Oporto? If not, it will be Forlan up front for sure.

The swedish news had an interview with Djordic and they claimed that he was in line to play tomorrow. I dont think so though.

It would be nice to see Djordic in action in a proper 1st team, so we can assess his true potential.

The game of Boavista tonight can be a very hard game (if they have the spirit to fight us even when they have no chance to qualify) for us, much harder than those believers think because we really seldom played well in an away match in Europe for 2 seasons now. We should start with our best possible team, such as:
Barthez
Irwin G.Neville Blanc Silverstre
Beckham Butt Scholes Fortune
Solsjkaer Giggs

Forlan is playing, Alex has confirmed that already. I'd be very surprised if Djordic played, but if he does then I'd expect us to be fielding other youngsters/reserves too like O'Shea - I'd also expect us to lose the game, we have a poor away record in Europe even with full strength sides.

Hes some cocky fecker,
going on about what a great crosser of the ball he is and what great technique he has, his only weakness is his right foot he says.
Still you need to be cocky to be a professional player.
He swore hed be in the 1st team soon (cant remember the date he put on it)

He went on loan recently and wasn't a great success it seems, and since he's been back in the reserves he appears from Red Pat's reports to have been playing centrally, but very selfishly. I'm not sure Choccy has the strength and discipline to correct his attitude problem, maybe being in the first team will be needed so he gets a few of Alex's hair dryer treatments.
