Announced today he will step down after the home series against India this summer.

I was shocked and will be sad to see him go, but i am glad he went on his own terms and was not pushed. I'll be there in Sydney to see him off as i think he is one of Australia's greatest ever sportspersons.

Here's to Tugga!

:( :( :( I fecking love Steve Waugh, have done ever since he came to England and kept scoring double centuries not out...had an average of about 400 for a while  even though it was against us you could only enjoy it, the man's a legend, it'll be a very sad day when he goes.

Its going to be a very sad day in Sydney for that test because its the end of an era.

Im definetely going to make an effort to go and watch one of the best batsmen EVER go round one last time.

Hats off to Tugga. A true gentleman and brilliant cricketer! Not to mention a New South Welshman !
