DRAFT RULES
1. All time pool. No blocked list. No players without a full game.
2. Initial drafting of 12 players.
3. Sheep style drafting but with a twist.
4. All passed players will be revealed every round along with failed players.
5. The point of this is to encourage aggressive drafting rather than safe drafting.
6. We will also have 4 rounds instead of 3 rounds.
7. The time limits for each round are - 16 hours for round 1, 12 hours each for rounds 2 and 3 and 8 hours for round 4
EXAMPLE
Managers A, B, C and D have started drafting
Round 1
A - Rashford (FAIL)
B - Martial (PASS)
C- Greenwood (PASS)
D - Rashford (FAIL)
Note: All of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood will be revealed as part of the round 1 results
Round 2
A - Fernandes (PASS)
D - Pogba (PASS)
Similarly, we continue till 4 rounds if required. If you cant get a pass after 4 rounds, you will get a sheep pick.
PICK YOUR OWN SHEEP
1. I don't like the idea of randomly allocated sheep as it removes a lot of flexibility and almost always ruins games.
2. So if you don't get a pass after 4 rounds, you can pick any player who has never been picked in any draft ever here.
3. The player should have already retired.
4. I don't care if they are hidden unknown gems. Take this as a chance to unearth them.
5. Sheep can't be a goalkeeper.
6. This also encourages you to be aggressive all the way till 4th round.
DAREDEVIL COROPA LEAGUE
1. All losing teams of round 1 enter the COROPA League Quarterfinals
2. From this points, the main draft and Coropa League will run in parallel as two different drafts.
QF REINFORCEMENTS
1. Will again be in sheep style.
2. Two before quarter finals
3. Main draft will get the chance to reinforce before the Coropa League.
4. All managers need to pick 2 sheep based on the "Pick your own sheep" rule
5. Both the sheep have to feature in the quarterfinal game.
6. They don't have to feature in any game after the QF
SF REINFORCEMENTS
1. Will again be in sheep style.
2. Two before semifinals
3. Main draft will get the chance to reinforce before the Coropa League.
4. Pool - All eliminated and blocked players except those that were involved in round 1
5. Anyone who plays 1 sheep in their SF game starts with a 2-0 advantage in their game.
6. Anyone who starts with 2 sheep in their SF game starts with a 5-0 advantage in their game.
7. The reinforcements don't have to be sheep, you can use the same sheep picked in QFs reinforcements.
8. You dont have to reveal the number of sheep you will be fielding before the start of the game.
FINAL REINFORCEMENTS
1. Either One or Two before Final
2. Pool - All eliminated and blocked players.
3. If you want to pick a round 1 player, you get 1 reinforcement
4. If you dont want to pick a round 1 player, you get 2 reinforcements.
5. Will be sheep style if both managers make the same choice regarding 1 or 2.
6. No advantage for fielding sheep.
7. Main draft will get the chance to reinforce before the Coropa League.
ROUND 1 DRAWS
1. Round 1 draws will be using seeding.
2. Each manager will rank teams from 1 to 16 from highest to lowest along with their round 12 picks.
3. If you dont send the list along with your round 12 pick, it will be considered fail.
SETTLING TIED GAMES
1. Just as 1 last push for encouraging more aggressive drafting, whoever participated in more number of rounds in the drafting stage shall proceed to the next round.
2. Max possible = 12 picks * 4 rounds each = 48
3. Min possible = 12 picks * 1 rounds each = 12
4. In case both the numbers are same, we will have penalties.
5. Rounds where a valid pick was not sent will not be counted as part of this.
