Ondrej Mastny
Ethan Laird
Joseph Olowu*
Bjorn Hardley
Alvaro Fernandez
Ethan Galbraith
Dylan Levitt (C)
Shola Shoretire
Hannibal
Omari Forson
Charlie McNeill

Subs:
Charlie Wellens
Dermot Mee
Charlie Savage
Martin Svidersky
Zidane Iqbal
Dylan Hoogewerf
Mateo Mejia
Joe Hugill
D’mani Mellor

*Joseph Olowu seems to be a 21 year old CB who was released by Arsenal at the end of last season. Don't know if he's joined or just on trial as the U23's are low on defenders.

Yeah. According to the Kidderminster website (which is the only place I'm finding updates) it was assisted by a Fernandez cross.

Kick off was delayed until 8.05pm due to traffic.
Nice they delayed it to allow people to get in.

Not on MUTV?
It was meant to be.
Initially in the schedules for tonight, then disappeared yesterday without any explanation. Same thing happened for the Stalybridge friendly, which was apparently due to the commentators having to isolate at the last minute. I don't know why tonight's game isn't on.

Hugill fallen out of favour for McNeill, or has Hugill got a knock?

Nice to see Mejia back involved and to know Laird isn't injured.

He is a Nigerian defender who was on loan to Cork in 19/20 - quite possible we have picked him up to boost numbers.

Thieving bastards is a bit strong but I recently coughed up to subscribe. First team game gets cancelled (fine, not their fault) but now they’re not even showing the U23s?! Absolute piss-take.
Welcome to MUTV. They were supposed to show the game against Stalybridge then they did exactly the same - just removed it from the schedule hoping no one would notice.

Hmm.
2-2 with just a couple of minutes to go.
Sounds like it's been all Kidderminster in the 2nd half and just got the equaliser in the 88th minute.

Why didn’t United play more first team players? We haven’t had a sufficient pre season

To be honest it is a little bit annoying that you have tones of talent in the squad, with players looking for a loan in Championship or first team opportunities in PL, and can't dominate 6th division team. Yes, they are kids playing against men, but still with the level of talent they have it should not be like that.

It is a friendly before the season. Of course result is not important, and of course it is not even in U23 and U18 games, but when you are dominated in the field in the second half it is a concern.

It's only a concern if it happens all the time. There were six changes on 65 minutes which changed the momentum. Two players hadn't played any football in over 12 months...so all reasonable context.

And give KH a bit of credit...they are decent non-league footballers and played well in the second half.

That's football.
