United Kits 24/25

Looks great. Just need Hojlond to get a shirt number... Also, definitely getting one of these "lifestyle jerseys" with just the badge on it.

That only available in the US? Can’t see it on the UK store

just watch the video for the kit again - that would have been really good as a new signing unveiling video

I wonder if there will be a Keepers kit in a similar style. Reminds me of the cup winners cup shirt. Would be nice to see a classic green keeper shirt to go alongside this one

Best white kit Adidas have done for us, even better than last season's.

First time Adidas have absolutely nailed all 3 kits for us. Enjoy it, because I'm sure they'll go back to giving us god-awful pink or yellow or toxic green kits soon.

Rather like the red/maroon socks for the main kit. Sure the alternative red shorts will be a topic of conversation if we ever line up in them.

This kit screams Liverpool, I actually thought it was a Liverpool kit when I saw it on facebook and just scrolled by. Definitely saving my money on this one.

Anyway, tbh I never bought a white United jersey in my life, I will just stick to the home jerseys.

Should be enough we have some of the worst white training/travel kits in a long time, way to much white going on overall.

Not even the womens side seem to have ditched the white shorts yet, hopefully it will happen soon!

Shilling for the Glazers either way

wouldnt say that. Im glad he's put his differences with the club aside.

Cantona was the main figure last year for the home kit launch since it had the collar and i dont remember it ever being mentioned about him bowing to Glazers etc

A friend of mine was featured in the launch promos for the home kit, and I know he is not a pro-Glazer guy by any stretch. I think, like many of us, that back when they did the shoot, he thought the Glazers would be out by the time it was released, rather than still dragging their heels.

I don't see why? It's an odd fan base that is so insecure about our primary colour being used on our shorts.

I'm neither "odd" or "insecure".

My comment querying whether we will ever wear the red shorts comes down to the fact that they're alternatives, like the striking yellow shorts were for our third kit in 21/22.

We'd have to playing away to a team in red/dark colour shirt with white shorts, in order for our alternatives to be worn. Perhaps against Aston Villa?

Pretty sure the red shorts are mostly for the women's team who decided they no longer want to wear white shorts for obvious reasons, same as why the England kit now has a change of shorts too lots of other teams who wear white shorts have started to do this including City.

At last someone with a bit of sense on this forum.

Hi.

Also,

As much as I like the third kit, I just see when we’ll actually ever wear it?

if the opposition wears red we will just wear the away kit and if not we’ll just wear the home kit.

how many times did we wear the green one last season? Twice?

We'll end up wearing the white third strip away to a team playing in dark colours like Villa or Palace.

The problem here is that you're thinking like a logical person, not like a greedy capitalist. There's no logistical need to have three kits. They want to sell more shirts so they've made three different ones and as such they'll make sure the team wears the white ones a few times.

Years ago, some of the pro leagues in the US had a rule that in order to sell a replica jersey, your team had to wear it X number of times during the season. I think football should implement a rule like that. Or, better yet, a rule that clubs have to keep the same kits for X number of seasons before making new ones. Football is the only major sport where teams get new uniforms every season and it's just ridiculous if you think about it.

United have been wearing third kits since the 1950s, decades before they were made to be sold to kids.

I completely agree that it would be better for all concerned if they all lasted more than a single season though.

Does anyone have the genuine "authentic" version of any of this year's kits?

I still can't get over the fact they decided to go ahead and sell this to the public:

Those "boxes" for the sponsors are undescribably awful, and the left sleeve is just a fecking mess. The "authentic" version is apparently much better, but the price is extortionate.

Nasty, cheap looking AND sweaty! what a combination!

The green kit of atrocious, though it's doubtful United -- or any PL club -- will ever reach the same depth as the zebra top a few seasons ago. But whoever came up with this garbage should be flogged.

The red and white tops, however, are sharp.

One of our best selling kits of the last decade you mean? might be true, who knows!

Zebra kit was a wonderfully wacky 3rd kit, exactly what they should be.
