i dont want to have a reputation as a transfer muppet, but on bigsoccer.com in the Korean forums, theres a thread about a 15 year old Korean player linked to United.

personally, i think this is just rubbish. i dont see how this player will get a work permit, in fact they didnt even reveal the identity of this kid. someone in the Korean forums mentioned that he was in the Ulsan Youth squad
I don't think it's BS, as Fergie himself admits that we're showing an interest in a young Korean player. He's most likely from Ulsan Hyundai FC, as they were the Korean team that participated in the Manchester United Premier World Cup this summer. As far as the work permit issue is concerned, we might look to circumnavigate that by sending him out on loan to Royal Antwerp once he reaches a certain age.

Aside from the work permit requirements in England, there is a FIFA rule introduced a few years ago that prevents players from leaving their homeland before they're 18.
Exception being; the family decides to move abroad and the kid has to go with them.
