Would be near perfect stop gap.Can we get Mitrovic from Fulham?
Did you understand I was implying the whole fecking team was awful yes? Including Bissaka but in our awfulness we made it harder for each other by not making passing options? Maguire, Lindelof all had the same issue in that our play was so bad barely anyone ever made an option for the man on the ball.Maguire played on the opposite side to him for every game unless I’m mistaken and there’s 1 or 2 exceptions, but of course other players being awful is actually his fault.
“His only option was Maguire” is your precise quote. Which is bollocks, for the reason I pointed out.Did you understand I was implying the whole fecking team was awful yes? Did you just see the name “Maguire“ and get triggered or something?

Also please learn how to correctly use the term “trigger” if you’re going to use it. Words have meanings you know.
You used an example that just doesn’t work, if you’d named Lindelof or even Varane (AKA, something that were accurate) then there was absolutely truth to what you said, just like there would have been truth if you were talking about Luke Shaw only having Maguire to pass to, but instead you decided to go with a scapegoat that makes no logical sense. So you were rightly called out for being wrong. The fact is Wan-Bissaka looks shit because he is, in fact, shit.Yes which you seem to have trouble with or just reading in general. The sentence was, “ His only option was give it back to Maguire or punt it down the wing” it’s funny that the important part you’re missing is after the name Maguire. Which really just makes me think even more that you saw that name and were triggered.
I wasn’t even having a pop at Maguire, you just decided to take it that way. Again proving that you were triggered.
Anyway enough of this nonsense. We were a terrible team that didn’t help each other which to me made a lot of our players including your boo, look worse on the ball than we think they are.
Now wind your neck back in.
Do you know what “triggered” means? Because it doesn’t seem you do. And no, again I wasn’t taking a swipe at Maguire. You just took it that way. And by the way if you really want to be pedantic there are occasions where Maguire was on the right, but again I just picked our most consistently played centre back to indicate the only options the fullbacks really had was to pass back you our defenders or punt it up the wing. As in they only had 1 safe pass which was back to defence. Nothing cynical about it, just you making a mountain out of a mole hill and continuing to do so because you won’t just apologise for overreacting or misreading. It’s why forums are such toxic places. Also again, please learn what words mean, and simmer the feck down while you’re at it.
I do know what the word triggered means, it’s you who evidently doesn’t. I have no problem with criticism of Maguire, when it’s warranted, which it wasn’t so I pointed that out. Maguire moved to the right under Rangnick well after Wan-Bissaka was punted out of the side.Do you know what “triggered” means? Because it doesn’t seem you do. I wish I had written “ pass back to a CB” So I didn’t have to waste my time with this nonsense but you’ve seen the name Maguire and been triggered.
”triggered” activated by a trigger, in your case the name Maguire.
I’m surprised there isn’t more interest in him. He’s a solid defensive RB, just not for a top team that has to attack in the majority of games.
For a team like Burnley sure. He came with a reputation of great 1v1 defending but certainly last season he forgot how to do that. Was always showing his winger the wrong side and getting his CBs in trouble.I’m surprised there isn’t more interest in him. I think there is a really good defender in there and the right environment will unlock it. I think his confidence is shot at United and he’s done now because our fans don’t have the patience for long term development. It’s in his best to move on.Personally find it a shame way his career has gone here. I knwo not many will agree but I thought he was a really good signing at the time, thought he would really be figting it out with Reece James and TAA as the future ENgland right back.
His decision making isnt great but I think going forward he is slated as much as some right backs are praised goign forward when he isnt any worse in a lot of aspects. If he could improve his positioning defensively he could still be a really good right back.
I think he could be a really good signing for someone like West Ham. There was a period a couple of seasons ago where he seemed to consciously be playing things really simple when he got the ball, moving it on quickly and he looked like progressing.....sadly he has regressed since we signed him in the lon grun here though

At times he did look like he was progressing but also seems to have regressed again. I can’t fully blame him, imagine playing right back beside laurel and hardy mostly where they pass sideways continually until pressed then they fire you a hospital ball.
good luck to him

I get it backwards? I’ve seen numerous occasions where Lindelof & Maguire pfaffed about with the ball under the guise of playing out from the back, panic when pressed and give it out to AWB usually when the attacker is almost upon him.I really, really disagree. I also think you get it backwards. Lindelof and Maguire was a lot more progressive than AWB. And all stats support that. It was so weird that people prefered AWB over Dalot.
I also think your forgiveness for AWB and «hate» for Lindelof is absurd. If both where to leave Man Utd this january, I’m sure Lindelof would attract bigger clubs and with a significantly higher fee + wage.

im sure you’re right that Lindelof will fetch more, that doesn’t bother me. They are all (Maguire, Lindelof, AWB) not good enough.
I’ve just watched highlights of his debut versus Chelsea. The player we have now is a poor imitation of the one we bought. He’s had his confidence shatteredI will not argue against that, but I’ve never seen a fullback at Man Utd send such a large share of his passes to the closest CB. And he often did that in a manner that escaleted pressure. I think the austrian coach at Southampton even made a point about how he built traps around how poor AWB was in build up-phase.

Like most of the players we want out — the issue will largely be over wages.I’m surprised there isn’t more interest in him. He’s a solid defensive RB, just not for a top team that has to attack in the majority of games.

Have a look at early days, his padding is crisper, he’s not afraid to take players on, his blocking and tackling are all on point.Eh no, he has always been the same. Good tackling abilities, high energy and a lot of running and covering grounds, but poor technically and over reliant on his tackling to compensate for his other average defensive abilities.

Yes he’s always had positional aspects to work on, his heading is non existent (probably worse than Lindelof!).
i wouldn’t say that he’s poor technically, it makes him sound like the football is a hot potatoe and I’ve always disagreed with that as I’ve witnessed him dribble out of tight spots. He’s not that player that has so much potential anymore. We’ve broken him

Will probably leave on loan. Can't see no one risking his price tag at this moment.
For me the real problem hasnt even been that he is gash on the ball. He is, but the bigger challenge is that his positioning is absolutely horrible. The number of times he lets an attacker get behind him is insane.
