Which sport has the fittest athletes?

Yeah, cross country skiers haven’t gotten the attention they deserve in this thread.

Still, I'd go for triathletes. Imagine running a 10k at around 30 minutes after the swimming and cycling. And that's just the olympic distance, which is shorter than most triathlons.

Out of the sports I've tried, submission wrestling by far the most taxing, especially when your sparring someone good. I've done Boxing, BJJ, Thai and football.
Water Polo has to be the one though, I get tired just watching it.
I was a national level Judoka, I used to compete with the guys that eventually went to Athens and Beijing. Judo is insanely taxing, its 3 minutes of near 100% effort where, like boxing, 1 mistake and you lose.

Oh snap. Yeah I just did it for fun, never competed. I can imagine Judo would be as tiring as BJJ. At your level, even more so.
