UEFA WOMEN'S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

For our inaugural campaign in Europe, a second-placed WSL finish last time out means the Reds enter proceedings in round two. That ultimately means a two-legged clash stands between us and a place in the group stage. Here are the competition's key dates for the forthcoming season, starting with where those all-important second-round matches will fall on the calendar...

Round two: 10/11 & 18/19 October 2023
Group stage: 14/15 November 2023 to 30/31 January 2024
Quarter-finals: 19/20 & 27/28 March 2024
Semi-finals: 20/21 & 27/28 April 2024
Final: 24/25/26 May 2024 (date to be confirmed)

FA WOMEN'S CONTINENTAL LEAGUE CUP

The dates for the earlier rounds of the tournament are still to be confirmed, although the weekend that the final will be played on has been set out.

Final: 30/31 March 2024

VITALITY WOMEN'S FA CUP

As a top-flight club, Marc Skinner's side are set to enter the competition in the fourth round proper, where we'll be hoping to kick off a run that sees us go one better than reaching the final in 2022/23.

Fourth round: 14 January 2024
Fifth round: 11 February 2024
Quarter-finals: 10 March 2024
Semi-finals: 14 April 2024
Final: 11/12 May 2024

Fast confirmation from Arsenal and Chelsea - has there been an attempt to avoid clashes between Men's and Women's teams this season?

Russo coming back in GW2 !

There have been some high profile fixtures deliberately timed for the international breaks etc.

WSL and the PL are scheduled to end the same weekend - so I'm assuming the men will have the Sunday schedule and the women will take the Saturday slots nationally.

For us, the women are at home (to Chelsea :wenger:) that final weekend and the men are away (to Brighton)

We must play more games at OT this season.

Interesting that neither the Emirates nor Stamford Bridge are hosting City.

Just to throw a couple more dates into the story. Our CL qualifying round is a two legged knockout.
First leg: 10/11 October
Second leg: 18/19 October
Which seems to fit with the men's international break that month, but makes the Arsenal match timing a bit scary (for both teams)

Unless I'm misreading something or a deal has been done to move Arsenal to Friday night perhaps?

No worries
United have confirmed two games to be played at Old Trafford this season: Man City on 19th November, and Everton on 31st March

Glad we finally get a derby match there, but I hope we get more games at OT. The last game against Chelsea seems like a no-brainer to me. And if we do well in Europe, I'd love to see a WCL game played there as well.

Second time in 3 seasons we’ve faced each other on the final day.

I hope it ends up being first vs second with the title on the line.

Tough start. CL games aren't confirmed for those dates and could still be 11th/19th I think. Ideally we'd have the extra day's rest from the Arsenal match.

Is the United vs Leicester date/time confirmed? The ticket website says it is still TBC.

I've not heard anything.

It's scheduled for Sunday 15 October at noon.
It's not one of the TV matches that weekend.

I guess there might be an attempt to move it to the Saturday to give us an extra day to prepare for PSG away. Now we know that the PSG match is on Wednesday 18th, I'd expect United to confirm the Leicester date soon.

Sorry it's a no news sort of post.

Thanks Jojojo. Was assuming the same but travelling from Edinburgh and cannot make a Saturday ko so still hoping for a Sunday game although seems unlikely.

Spoke to ticket office and they said the game vs Leciester is still subject to change as the WSL have not confirmed it.
