That’s a rigged draw if I ever saw one. Hey, what’s that you said about the CL qualifiction?
If we get through our WCL qualifier in the autumn and enter the group stage of the WCL we get an automatic bye to the WSL Cup QF stage.

If we lose our WCL qualifier - we not only miss out on the WCL we get to play Liverpool, Everton, City and Leicester to get through in the WSL Cup.

There are 5 WSL Cup groups. Top of each group gets a place in the QFs. Teams playing in the WCL group stage (only Chelsea at the moment but possibly United and Arsenal as well) get a place in the QF. Any places left over go to best runners-up in the groups. Messy, but there we are.

It's true ... Win our two-leg tie in the CL and we jump into the last eight of the Conti. Lose and we join at the group stage. Life used to be so simple!

So,to keep it simple: Who do we need to beat home and away to go both to the CL group stage and the league cup QF?

We won't know who we play in our WCL qualifier until 15th Sept - we know that it'll be a very tough draw though.

Because of seeding and other rules we get either Wolfsburg, PSG or Real Madrid (who enter in round 2 the same as us) or the highest coefficient team that comes through round 1.

Gulp.
