Who would be a better fit if it is true that we may have to turn our attention to Joaquin? There's only one way to go imo and that's the option in green and white not red and blue. :D

To get a more emphatic answer, consider Ronaldinho would cost around £20m. I hope Betis could be tempted with £15m, but that's very dependent on whether Real want to get involved, in which case there will be only one winner. :(

Now, how exactly are Real going to fit Figo, Beckham & Joaquin into the same right midfield position? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

rumours are that Kenyon has gone to Spain, and i think we're thinking of bidding 12 million...15 million would do it.....class player..

Call me controversial but I cannot see why there is this Joaquin vs Ronaldinho topic. I mean these players are completely different, with the Brazilian international being a link man, an attacking midfielder or maximum a left winger while Joaquin is the classical right winger.

Maybe I am wrong but I have a funny feeling that SAF is trying to lure both players to OT. I mean it makes sense, Ronaldinho will be playing as a link-man while Joaquin would succeed Beckham on the right flank. Kenyon had promised exciting signing, and with these two signatures he would achieve that target

Best if we could snag both.

That and an experienced quality central defender ought to round up our summer shopping quite nicely.

That would be awesome indeed. But I'll only believe it when I see it.

Is Joaquin quick? How is his passing/crossing? If he's a quick player, then he'll be right side version of Giggs, meaning he will fit into the new formation United will deploy. Having Ronaldhino behind RVN would be fantastic with Joaquin and Giggs attacking and Veron distributing passes from deep.

Don't know about his passing, but in terms of speed/dribbling yes he is the right side version of Giggs.

That lineup might produce a treble...or at least a double...although, I'd prefer to see Ayala or Thuram at CB versus Sylvester...perhaps a Veron for Thuram swap...then deploy O'Shea with Keane in DM...and we know that Joaquin will stay in Spain (unfortunately)...
