Can see Pogba getting on the bench.

Big question is who starts at the back.

Amidst squeaky bums.
A wild stab:

Lindegaard

Fabio
Ferdinand
Evans
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Giggs
Park

Berbatov
Owen

SUBS: Amos, McGinty, Jones, Fletcher, Gibson, Diouf, Macheda.

And yes I do realise that's the midfield that pretty much got us to the Champions League final last year, but I think they all could do with a game! Defence is strong but it's pretty much all we've got left! Hoping Jones will be able to walk or shrug off his limp.

I can't even guess what the lineup will be. But I will anyway.

Code:
                  Lindegaard

Valencia Ferdinand Jones Fabio

Park Carrick Pogba Giggs

            Berbatov Owen

SUBS:
Amos, Smalling, Evans, Young, Fletcher, Anderson, Welbeck

Smalling had a groin injury apparently. Would not like to risk too many of our central defenders if Rio is still unfit as well. Maybe Tom Thorpe will get a game?

Rio is back in training. But he missed training earlier in the week and Fergie didnt want to rush him back into a big game
Should be fine for Leeds. Fergie might want to save him for Stoke tho, depending on how the other injuries are

Lindegaard; Valencia Rio Jones Fabio; Park Carrick Pogba; Macheda Berbatov Owen.
I wouldn't have thought that'd be far wrong but i just can't see the three strikers starting. I think Fletcher might get more minutes or maybe Giggs since it's away from home and there's a bit of youth in the side

Hope Rooney, Nani and Anderson are rested and nowhere near the squad for this match.

just found out am going to this  my first away ever!!!!
Congrats! :keano:

Great game to see, take clothes you don't mind getting urine on!

It would have been nice to get Pogba, Morrison, Keane, Cole and the rest a game here, but we won't want to lose this after what happened last time we met.

Maybe we can bring in a young RB at least.

..........Lindegaard
Jones...Rio...Evans...Fabio
........Carrick Giggs
Valencia Berbatov Park
..............Diouf

I have to admit i don't pay much attention to the defenders when i watch the reserves/highlights, anyone want to suggest some names for the bench? Keane for one.

I put question marks for the sub bench, because who knows whether Jones or Smalling will be ready for Tuesday, I don't think Smalling will be. Possibly Jones, but I don't know. Maybe put one of the young lads from reserve there. Sean McGinty?

I rather fancy Berba & Owen to own this competition this year...
Not sure about the former, he's not the type of player to come in out of the wilderness and put in amazing performances. Saying that I suspect the experience of Giggs, Owen, Berba, Carrick/Fletcher to take us far this season

Liking this, but I think if Welbeck is fit he'll be involved and we'll play some incarnation of 433 with Welbeck out of position.

Let the young uns sort this one out but I think we will see a relatively strong side due t.o last years shock loss at home.

Technical Difficulties...
If we take the piss with the team/respect and lose again to them in the cup then they will mock us even more. Still hear them going on about. Lets dump them out at all 'costs'.

Didn't realise it was only about 48 hours after the Chelsea game. Every starter yesterday should be rested for this unless needed in defence (which I guess Jones and Evans probably are). Hopefully Rio's back. Would be a massive boost!
