Cas is dreamy. I hope we get to see more of him and the whole war above in the coming episodes. Leading on from the last episode, I suspect we might

I stopped watching after season5.
You should not have. It is getting really interesting again. I was thinking season 6 would be not as good and they are running out of ideas. But no so much. They have managed to get new ideas and are going good.

They just signed up for a season 7. :)

Yeah.
and a premature end to a character with potential storyline
Did people really not see that twist coming from as early as season 5?

Crowley's death made little sense when it came, it was always a possibility he would still be around.

And regards to your spoiler;

If they had run with Eve, it would have just been a mirror of season 5. Just swap Eve with Lucifer and monsters with demons. The show would never have progressed. I'm glad they're focussing more on Crowley/Cas. And in all honesty Cas' character is taking a far more interesting development, Eve would have got in the way of that. I hope to feck we start seeing more of Cas- I still I want to know why 'God' bought him back.

That said Eve's death was a little disappointing considering she was the 'mother of all'. Plus she was super hot.

Having such a build-up to her appearance and to end like this is premature imo.

I like the new Castiel angle too and Crowley has always been a good character to end like that.
I haven't got complaints about how this season has turned out. Been a bit of freshness and thats good when the series is in the sixth season. The season is renewed for next season btw

Another really interesting episode tonight.

We got to hear Cas's story and why everything that's happening is indeed happening.

Its going to be one heck of a season finale on May 20th.

Last nights episode was good. I don't want this season to end. It's suddenly just got shit hot after a slightly slower beginning. Can't believe we have had 20 episodes already. Sort of feels like the finale is being rushed towards now though!

Yep this season started really slow I thought they made a mistake starting season 6. But not anymore. It is getting really heated now.

I've enjoyed the beginning of this season, so it's good to hear it gets better. Only up to 'Family Matters' so far.

Wow that ending for season 6 was a little unexpected.

What now for Sam and Castiel?

I wonder if Sam is going to be alright now that Cas is the new God. I mean if Cas does not listen to Sam and Dean anymore, then he won't cure Sam again, which means Sam has scratched the door that 'Death' placed in his mind and now that is broken.

I'm pretty sure that they were told if he scratched at the door that he may not cope with it. So I think the need to help out Dean got him through it or something.

I'm still not entirely convinced that Crowley and Raphael wouldn't have known the blood they were using to open Purgatory was dogs blood. Seems a bit weak. Unless it was all a rouse and Crowly was still working with Castiel all along and bought Raphael to Cas so he could kill him. It would explain why Cas let Crowley go.

Also I'm slightly disappointed Sam is still coherent. Hopefully he descends into madness or summit next season. Even if he somehow miraculously doesn't get fecked up by the horrors of the cage, the memory of the atrocities he commited will hit him hard.

Agreed about the plot about blood switching being unconvincing right now. If there is no follow-though on that, it was definitely a weak point.

I loved the idea of Sam battling his alter-egos (or whatever you call them) in his minds. The atrocities committed by his soulless part fades in relation to the horrors of the cage since its the soul itself that is battered. As death said (if I remember right), it is unclear of how Sam gets unaffected considering he is not a normal human being.

Overall, the dramatics for the final episode have been tempered a bit for the last episode considering how it usually has been for previous seasons.

The last episode was good but wasn't good enough like the final episodes of season 2 or 3 where you just can't freakin wait for the next season. This finale did not make me feel like that.

I have been keeping up. A good surprise at the beginning of the season. I wouldn't say its been a great season but still watchable.

Something about this show that it never gets me bored even if it is predictable.

Really like it.

comfortable and settled in my rut
Is it a bit of a comedy or something? My mates quite into it and keeps sending me links of slightly humorous stuff from it. It seems very dry which is my kind of humour, but I was wondering whether its isolated examples or theres always humour running through before I decide whether to start watching

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
Some episodes are hilarious from start to finish. Others are very much more drama filled with only the odd bit of humour (which is always very well done though). There haven't been many (any?) episodes without any humour at all.

I hugely recommend it. The two leads are best friends in real life, and it shows in the show with just how much fun they have at times.
