White shirts are always cool, even our white one from the 10-11 season doesn't look that bad now...

Black gingham looks decent with a white shirt.

And now we know in which shirt we are going to lose against Barcelona at Wembley in May.
Fixed. We need to play in the red!

Well, in recent seasons Barcelona kits had more grana than blau, that's why we couldn't play in red shirt in both finals (and I still can't understand that, especially with white shorts and socks). This season, their kit is very blue.

The shorts look terrible but the shirt looks pretty nice. Hopefully they won't ruin it with shit name/numbers.

Any idea on a release date?

I saw July 20th mooted somewhere earlier, but I'd be surprised if it is that soon...

I actually quite like the shirt, though I hate the badge colours being messed with!

They're both awful, I swear they would sell more shirts if they just stuck to the classic 70's iconic shirts we've all seen pictures of Besty strutting about in. Why is it they have to try and do something massively original every year?

If they replicated what's been seen before, people will complain. If they create something new, people will complain.

I appreciate a bit of creativity otherwise life would be boring. Anyway we've known for a while this year would be the "Gingham Collection" and i'm fine with that. The day our home shirt ceases to be red, there will be justifiable outrage though.

That white kit is a winners kit. Like the White/black and Gold number in 06/08. Not the two shit white kits we've had since.
Eh? The white kit we had in 2009 was class.

It was shit. I don't like blue as a trim colour on any white or black kits. Trim should be red, black or white only in my opinion. All blue third kits I'm fine with.

I like both kits tbh.

I might actually buy the away shorts extra extra small so I can rock it likes its 1989.

I think our new red shirt looks so much better after seeing the team play in it. The pictures don't do it justice at all I thought it looked horrific but it's actually very nice IMO.

To each his own, but I will honestly be amazed if many folks buy one to just wear around. It is just so different... and not necessarily in a good way :(.

now that I've seen them play in it...it's not horrible. someone in the United food chain was very happy yesterday when they saw their idea actually make it to the pitch. looking forward to seeing the next home kit.

Ajax Cape Town play in the same mostly red with white kit that Ajax wear, so we'll need our whites, or blues, for the game on saturday. Since they're launching the white kit tomorrow makes sense we'd play in white.

But their home kit is mainly white. I would not be surprised to see us play in the blue and black hooped shirt - unless Ajax Cape Town wear a change strip.

Never mind tablecloths, that top in the bottom right of the photo looks like my ironing board cover.

Bearing in mind Rooney had to rip the neck of our old top on his debut and this looks far tighter, I'm assuming there are buttons under the flap?

It looks like you've got to have an incredibly thin neck to be able to wear this.

That looks nice. It should have been the design for the home kit to be honest. It'd look great red with black piping & white badges.

Red with white piping and the normal badge would look good I think.

Someone Photoshop it.

Just tried on the away kit here in Germany. I love the monochromatic front, very striking. The collar is styled a bit different though so decided not to buy it today.

One of the most surprising things to me was the collar had two buttons. Haven't seen that since my old All Blacks Canterbury Rugby shirt.

Anyone else think this unusual or just me :)?
